"Wait, did you just say mate?" I mind linked Ben. "Yeah, I am not sure who. My wolf is confused." He said. Honestly same. "How did you go this long with keeping this secret?" I asked Alpha Randel. "You and I both know the old tales of being an identical twin means." I nod but Ben butts in. "Well I don't. Anyone want to feel me in?" I sigh and shake my head. Alpha Randel then spoke up. "As you do know, it is rare. So rare it is unheard of in some parts." Ben nods and is now listening like this man is a god or something. "Well, the reason why it is rare is because the old tales said that identical twins had there own wolf. As well as they could shift on their own. But being identical also means that they share every chromosome and dna, everything. So it was feared that they could merge." Ben's eyes grew and he looked at me with fear of the unkown. I nodded, confirming my knowledge of everything.

"Well, when the girls turned 16 and they both got their wolves, Lily shifted first. Layla was having issues and was nervous. She was afraid she couldn't shift. Lil quickly shifted back to calm her sister. She was always good at that. She told her sister to hold her hand and that they would shift together. But when they did that, their bodies began to merge together as one." "WOW WOW WOW. You're telling me that these two girls can merge into one wolf?" Ben asked histerically. I whacked Ben upside the head. "Could you be any louder?" I growled. "I am sorry but do you know what we are up against?" Ben asked rubbing his head. I know what he is talking about. Our mates are twins and can merge into one wolf. Anyone with a rational mind would freak out. "Can Layla shift on her own?" I asked now curious. "She has only done it a couple of times." Alpha Randel spoke, looking down at the picture of his girls. "Layla is very timid just like her mother. Lily is the more, how do you say, 'take the bull by the horns' type of girl, so it was easier for her to embrace."

"So my next question is, why is this important? I mean yeah, the girls can probably merge into a huge freakin wolf. Crazy as crap. But why would this be of any importance to anyone?" Ben asked the question I was thinking. Alpha Randel sighed. "I believe they were taken on a pure guess." "A guess?" I questioned. "Yes, there is a rumor that there power can be taken to make any super natural stronger and most powerful. However, that has never been confirmed and I am afraid my girls will be the test subjects." Ben and I growled in unison, causing Alpha Randel to give us both strange looks. "We can't let him know just yet about them being our mates." I linked Ben. "Understood!" He replied.

"We will help you." I confirmed with Alpha Randel. "Well, I suggested we need to talk about this arranged marriage then." He said as he lowered his head. I looked up at Ben. He nodded at me like he already knew. "Alpha Randel. Let's not think on that right now." I said, trying to reasurre him. He nodded in agreement. "Well, let's get this search party going then shall we. What do you have in mind?" He asked. "Well, Alpha Randel." Ben spoke as he plopped down next to him, placing his arm around him. Alpha Randel looked at Ben's arm before he slowly removed it. "As I was saying...We have a secret weapon." Ben's grin grew almost widely as I shook my head.

Lily

"Why won't they let us touch?" Layla whispered. "I think they know Lay." She looked down, trying to hide the tears, but I know she is crying. We are each others rocks and I know that she is hurting. I can feel it. "Lay, stay strong. I know someone is going to come for us soon. I just know it." I tried reassuring her. "HOW LIL!" She yelled at me. "Layla. Please just trust me. I have this feeling that I can't shake. I just know." I spoke calmly. Layla wouldn't speak to me after that. I curled up into a ball and just prayed to the moongoddess it would be soon.

"A PSYCHIC?" Alpha Randel yelled at us like we were small children. "Alpha Randel. Can you please just trust us on this. I know you want to get your girls back and we want to help. She grew up with me. Technically she is a witch, not a psychic. She just knows things." I tried reasoning with him.

We need to get our mate back NOW! Axel has been on edge since he saw his mate. We have been trying to explain the plan for over an hour now with Alpha Randel and his Beta that showed up. Trying to buy time until Serena arrived. Serena grew up with me. She was left in the woods where my father found her when she was 4. We knew she wasn't a wolf but we knew she was different. It wasn't until she turned 16 that her powers began to develope. Growing up she just always knew things. Like where we hid during hide and seek. What was being made for breakfast.
