The branch snapped, and Kalel crashed! But not on the ground. The laurel-eyed boy drops in a hole as the ground cleaved into two and imbibed Kalel with a strong thud. Kalel screams; he gets slammed a few feet under while his head collides with a large rock, causing something wet to drip down his face. He couldn't see anything but he was sure his eyes enveloped nothing but a blur, his head spinning like a mad child's top. Kalel turns to his side with a groan as pain reverberated through his bleeding head; his legs felt numb and every part of him was quaking in shrill anguish.
