Chapter. 5

CHAPTER FIVE Elsa I had s*x with the infamous Lycan King Michael Anderson!!! I didn't understand what was going on anymore and the look on his face certainly meant that he wasn't lying. It made no sense. How did I never get any hints that he was a Lycan, let alone the King of all Lycans? I said nothing to him again after confirming his identity, letting him help me and we continued our journey out of the pack. Like he said, he actually attacked the pack and there was no one found there anymore, only ashes of houses that had been burnt to the ground. No living, or dead bodies of the pack members around, but I was too shocked to ask him anything. "I'll drive," his voice brought me back and I raised my head, finally aware of my surroundings. I gasped and instantly covered my mouth with my hands the moment I saw almost fifty men dressed in suits bowing at him. It was almost like he was a gangster and not a King. "C'mon, Elsa, let's get you into the car," he offered, placing my arms around his shoulders and wrapping his arms around my waist. I said nothing still, making my decision at that point if it was necessary for me to go with him or not, he was a Lycan after all. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him as soon as he got into the car, before he could even close the door and he paused for a moment. "I didn't see the need to," he answered and I raised a brow at his response. "You didn't see the need to? Then, why did you tell your men not to address you as their superior?" I retorted, finding his response rather funny. "When did I ev….." he was about to lie to me, but I gave him a hard glare, shutting him up instantly. "I was going to find out at a point, you know. You could have just come clean and saved all this from happening," I told him. "Fine, I'm sorry," he apologized, finally giving in. "Why can't I ever win an argument with you?" He muttered under his breath as he started the car. "What do I address you as now? The Lycan King? Your Majesty? King Michael?" I asked him and he bursted into laughter, which sounded strange to me. "This is the first time my title sounded so weird coming from someone else. Just keep calling me by my name, it feels more comfortable that way," he informed me and I nodded in understanding. "What about your queen?" I asked after some moment of silence and he snapped his head to face me. "What?" He said and I twitched my lips, wondering if it was right for me to repeat myself. "What about your queen? You're a King, you have a Queen, do you not?," I asked curiously. "Elsa, we had s*x. I would never have done that if I was married, that's cheating," he explained, answering my question indirectly, and I nodded at his comment, deciding to drop it. I let my mind wander off while he drove, thinking of how my new life was going to be at his pack. It was a Lycan pack, which meant that they were definitely not going to be very welcoming to me. Lycans and werewolves have been enemies for a long time and the Lycans, who were much bigger and stronger than the werewolves, forbade us from living amongst them, unless we were Omegas, or married to a Lycan, which was rare. Different thoughts ran through my head on how I was going to make the pack members like me, but I got no definite solution, so I decided to leave things as they were and placed my head on the headrest, yawning tiredly. "Goodnight, Michael," I said, closing my heavy eyes. "Goodnight, my Queen," I thought I heard him say, but I was too tired to ask him to repeat himself, so I just slept off, giving in to darkness. * I woke up with a banging headache, and I had to shut my eyes firmly and open it again to lessen it. "Michael, where are we now?" I asked, my voice coming out groggier than I expected. I immediately got conscious of my surroundings and instead of finding myself in the car, I was in the most beautiful room I had ever seen. I stared at the sparkling white walks in awe, my jaw almost dropping as I had never seen something so– magical. "You're finally awake," I heard someone say and I jumped in fright, definitely not expecting that. "I didn't hear you come in," I said, taking in deep breaths to calm myself. "That was because you were preoccupied with something else," the doctor answered, walking up to me. "You have been sleeping for two days now, ever since the King brought you here," she added and I gasped in surprise. "Two days?" I shouted, but that didn't sit well with her as she frowned in response. I instantly kept quiet and let her do her work. "You're fine now. Your bruises are beginning to heal and you just need to eat well and regain some strength and muscle," she informed me and I nodded in response. "What about Michael?" I asked as she turned to leave and she stopped immediately, turning back to look at me. "What?" She asked, glaring at me and I put my lips together, trying to think of what I said wrong, until I got it. "What about the King?" I repeated. "He has a pack to run, you were not expecting him to sit right next to you and babysit you, right?" She snapped and I twitched my lips together, wondering if she had anger issues, she was a doctor, after all. "Take it easy on her, Sam," I heard a very familiar voice say and my face brightened instantly. "Looking for me, Elsa?" He asked, walking up to me, a perfect smile that made my heart skip all the time, plastered on his face. That was when I realized that the Moon Goddess had sent him to me as compensation for all I went through with Brandon and I wasn't going to take it for granted.
