The night before had been euphoric, to say the least. Everything felt more intense than it ever had. I don’t know if it’s because I was so in love with them, and them in love with me. It felt like such a huge step, one I couldn’t wait to take. I was well and truly, head over heels in love. Absolutely nothing could break us now.
I was excited to go back to the allotments. I met a lot of the older pack members who taught me so much. We prepared the ground, planted some seeds which went into the greenhouses and drank warm tea. They told me old tales and stories whilst I listened too with so much interest. I enjoyed hearing them.
