I could hear the movement above me. I could hear growling, anger and items being broken. That had to be Herd. There were so many footprints above me and not one of them belonged to someone who knew I was down here. I was screaming and shouting, but nobody could hear me. I tried so hard to thought link but it was no use.
The door opened and a figure walked into the room.
‘Oh, poor Adie. She thinks she’s going to be rescued but they will never find you. You see, under this building is enchanted soil. It was made this way hundreds of years ago so that when they buried the supernatural, they couldn’t escape. Nobody can hear you and supernatural powers won’t work down here. I’m not sure why you keep healing, but that’s a good sign. At least you won’t die.’ The voice sneered.
