When we arrived home, we were greeted by a glorious meal. Felix and Mable had a great time with Iona, Cezar and Elena, and I’m sure they all felt the same way. Syl always explained how his parents' faces would light up when they were with the children. It must make them feel young again.
We were given the most excellent news. Mable would be participating in her first Christmas dance show. She was in two dances, dressed as a fairy for one and a snowman for another. We all roared with laughter when she told us she was a snowman. She has been practising with Elena, but apparently, I wasn’t allowed to see so that it was a complete surprise when she performed.
