Zariah’s POV
We just made our way into Vedan forest. We didn’t run into any patrols, so I think King Malos pulled his warriors in. Blizz and Ronan have been on the edges and in the front to detect if anyone is patrolling the forest. My father and mother took the lead into the forest. I’m bringing up the rear with Caedan, Kayne, Kalan, and their parents. My sisters are mingled throughout all the warriors. Oria, Grine, and Slait are walking just in front of us.
My father and mother wanted to lead since King Malos didn’t take the throne in a traditional way technically they were still the rulers of Zare. At least that’s how most of my warriors have treated them. They still look at me as their new ruler but are showing the respect and pride in my parents to be going into battle with them. I
