The queen and king sat on their thrones looking a little upset. I’m sure they were probably awoken at our arrival. I stepped forward. “Be sweet.” Diablos laughed in my head. I just inwardly grimaced at him. “Your royal highnesses.” I began. Before I could say anything else the queen said, “What do you want shadow prince and be quick about it before we throw you in our dungeons for spying and pray, we don’t kill you if you displease us.”
I didn’t really deserve this, but I can understand. They probably think I’m here to do something nefarious on behalf of my father. “Please your majesty.
