Calas’ POV
Ravynne just came and told me the king wanted to see me. I left my post on the turret above the main gate door to go see what he wanted. I made my way to his office. There’s barely anybody in the castle lately. The only real noise heard even part of the time is whenever the king is having a fit of rage. He was furious when he had to pull patrols back to the castle. I think he knew that the princess’ threat was true. He doesn’t have anyone but his warriors to help him maintain control of Zavaria Castle and Vedan City.
