I started to reach behind me without opening my eyes. I was feeling for a furry head to scratch. All I was feeling was empty bed. They must’ve moved to the front of the van to sunbath. I made smooching sounds to call Venus and Bella to me. I need some snuggles after the dream I had. This hangover is killing me right now. I need to take some pain reliever before this headache turns into a migraine. “Veen-Veen, Bell-Boos.” I called while making the smooching sound again. “Where’s my puppies?” All I hear is silence.
