Chapter 23
Jackie Skelton was true to her word and two days later David received a thick Fed-EX envelope, and when opened the charging documents, prosecution witness list and a series of photos at the crime scene were enclosed with several Thumb Drives containing additional case related information.
He laid all the documents out on his conference table, cleared old case information off the whiteboard on his office wall, opened his laptop and sat down to review the information he had received.
He spent two full days reviewing all of the information, spending long hours until midnight both nights, before leaning back and rubbing his tired eyes.
There is a lot of work to do on this case, he thought as he put his laptop to sleep and rose out of his chair.
