Exhausted Jia Lin

The dragon valley Inn was very large; it could house hundreds of people at a time. It wasn't like the Inns in the previous town of Bellmout or Mou city where the South Wind Martial School was located, the large Inns in the Twin Province were all reinforced with formation arrays and each room was like a minor dimension. This showed cased the power of the concept of space laws. To create such a place, one had to first master the space laws, which to some was a godly concept. Inside each minor dimension, one could do whatever they wanted to, they could train, absorb profound Qi, basically do all the things that they would do if they were outside. This truly showed the difference between small and large cities. Nix and the others went into their rooms; they would never stop training under the commands of Jia Lin. The only person that continuously followed Jia Lin around at this moment was Zin Len; she was hell-bent on not letting anyone near him, as was Buo Wun. But Buo Wun was more of a cold-blooded bodyguard and Zin Len was more of a crazed woman protecting what was hers. "Should we enter" Jia Lin turned to Zin Len with a smile. "I've been working very hard lately. I need to get some rest; I'm not like the others who can simply train every single day of my life" Zin Len smiled. This smile brought back a lot of fond memories to Jia Lin's mind. Oh, he wished he could live like this forever, but he knew that this was only a moment, that was passing through time and would soon be gone. "Haha, I totally understand" Jia Lin laughed for the first time in a long while. His mood was always dull and cold, this was also mostly due to the unleashing of the demon. Space twisted as Zin Len and Jia Lin entered into the minor dimension room of the Dragon Valley Inn. For a split second, their visions went black and before they knew it, they were standing on flat grass. Inside this minor dimension, there was a river which acts as a source of fresh water; to the far left was a restroom and bedding area. "I'll go wash up and take a rest. You should get some rest too, you look extremely tired. This Heaven Class competition, I think it's going to be tough" stated Zin Len was a serious face. She was a part of Jia Lin's team, thus she would be drawn into the Heaven Class fighting as well. This was the main reason why she wanted to rest up well and start back her training at once. It was common knowledge that only the top geniuses would be chosen as Heaven's class warriors and only those that are second in talent could become team members. Throughout history, every team leader had become a top powerhouse of his/her generation and as such, the Heaven Class was also a sign of future status and power. Those that were in the Human class would at most make it to the Spirit Awakening realm and Earth Class could make it to the pinnacle of Spirit Awakening. As for those Heaven Class warriors, their martial talents were monstrous and thus they had the ability to break through to the King's realm in the future. Each faction leader, clan master, and Sect patriarch was once Heaven's class warrior in their lifetime. "Yeah, I too really need to get some rest. My Mental will powers had grown explosively as well as the energy in my body and soul force. The test within the strange temple is really marvelous" Jia Lin though he looked as if he wasn't tired, was in reality exhausted. The black mists inside his meridians were running on empty and it was only due to force devouring that Jia Lin was able to push his Ancient Devil Physique into withstanding the burden he had to bear. Not just that but if he didn't have Apollo and his power, then he feared he would've died in the battle of martial kings. He at that time was only putting on airs. The pain of his soul being pulled out of his body left him extremely tired and he had broken bones all over his body. Even the Green Leaf Source Tattoo healing powers and with the healing effects of his physique, he was still left completely exhausted and burned out. "You go and wash up. I'll go over here to rest up and heal my wounds, make sure to train well. Even though there's a possibility that I might not be allowed to take part in the Heavens Class competition" Jia Lin walked up to a big tree that gave shade to a section of the area. He sat down with a sigh; the path of a cultivator was truly troublesome and tiring. They had to constantly fight their way through bloody wars, pushing against the heavens will, watching their loved ones grow old and die. One's mind had to be ready for all of this, a cultivator's life was extremely long and due to this, some would leave the families behind and only focus on the path ahead in order to reduce the pain they would feel. "Why do you think you won't be allowed to take part?" Zin Len questioned, not feeling too comfortable with Jia Lin's statement. "Sigh. The battle powers that I possess is too great, some might find it unfair if I take part. Though it's only a few who have seen me battle, it's not like they’re going to keep their mouths shut" Jia Lin knew the ways of Mortal men, he had seen for too much of it, and thus he could roughly guess the next series of events that would occur over the coming days. "I see" Zin Len sigh. "Well don't think about it too much. Just get some rest first. I'll be over here" Zin Len walked up to the river and jumped in. Jia Lin, sitting under the big tree, closed his eyes as his consciousness faded away. Time slowly passed by and soon, four days had passed while Jia Lin was lost in exhaustion and was sleeping. Though it was said that cultivators and Mages could use the power of heaven and earth to strengthen their bodies and thus wouldn't need to sleep or eat for days or months, Jia Lin's situation was completely different. He had fought against 9 phantom images of himself, they possessed the abilities he had, and therefore the battle between them had overdrawn on everything he had. Most people present thought that Jia Lin could continue fighting on but the truth was that if he had, he would've fainted due to the fact that the Green Leaf Source Tattoo almost forces his body into recovery mode and that would've knocked him out completely. Four days, six, Jia Lin was still sleeping. Zin Len didn't disturb him and Sky Sword came several times just to check upon him. From this only, one could see how highly Sky Sword valued Jia Lin. On the tenth day, Jia Lin's eyes slowly opened, his pupils flashed with the power of lightning and thunder. The Jade Clan thunder Bloodline that he had absorbed was extremely overbearing. One had to remember that the Jade Clan was a true human God Bloodline clan and was once a Bloodline that was fused with a true dragon God beast. Jia Lin had also obtained ten drops of golden dragon blood that had Dao laws roaming about within; he hadn't taken the time to absorb this blood, because it would take an extremely long time to do so. Jia Lin's bones issued cracking sounds, over the past ten days, his mental will world had expanded and his soul force had multiplied by a factor of 10*. His cultivation base had broken through from the early stages of the 9th stage of the Earth Realm and had now advanced to the middle stages. After making it to the late stages, Jia Lin could finally attempt to break through to the Spirit Awakening realm and form his Martial Spirit. "Your power has increased explosively over these past few days. But there are no mists within your meridians, you should absorb and convert the profound Qi in this dimension into black mists before leaving" as Jia Lin woke up, he only had time to release a deeply held breath before Demon's voice kicked in. If one truly wanted to make it to the top, they must never stop training, they must never stop working hard. They must work harder than anyone else, that's how they would make it to the top. "I know, I'll do that in a minute. I have so much work to do. I have exactly 499 years to master all of my abilities before I can reenter my Qi realm, that old man must be watching from inside" Jia Lin was calm, his face showed no emotions whatsoever. "That old man has a shocking background. You must beware of him" Demon warned. "I understand" Jia Lin replied. "It's time to make a copy of me. Bring out your sabre and call forth my true body" around Jia Lin, Dao laws could be seen twisting around him as Apollo's voice echoed out in his mind.
