"Kristofer came looking for you a few minutes ago," Clair said after Max left. Harper concluded that he was only there to make sure that she arrived at the dorm safely.
For one, Clair was surprised to see him, and the stuff he said he was bringing for her was just a box of donuts. Clair was more than happy to accept them but Harper noticed that her mood wasn't lifted. Something must have happened while Harper was away and she felt that it had to do with Kristofer.
"Yeah? What did he want?" Harper mumbled as she got herself ready for a shower.
Clair pointed to the papers Kristofer had given her earlier and muttered. "He brought those for you."
Harper looked through the papers, a little relieved that he marked out articles for her to read and the structure of her assignment. "Thanks," H
