Aria took a deep breath. "I'll go see him. He’s still family, and maybe he'll be willing to talk to me."

Liam's eyes softened. "Be careful, Aria. We don't know how deep this goes."

With a determined nod, Aria set off to visit her grandfather. The drive to his house felt like an eternity, her mind racing with questions. When she arrived, she took a moment to steady herself before knocking on the door.

General Marcus Morgan opened the door, his stern face softening when he saw her. "Aria. I wasn’t expecting you."

"Why didn't you stop it?" Aria demanded. "Why didn't you say anything?"

Aria's heart ached at his words. "We need your help to bring them down. We can't do it alone."

Aria nodded, a sense of resolve washing over her. "We will. Thank you, Grandpa."

They mingled with the crowd, listening to conversations and subtly probing for information. Aria managed to strike up a conversation with one of Stone's associates, a woman named Evelyn.

"Evelyn, right? I'm Aria," she said, extending a hand. "I’ve heard so much about your work."

Evelyn smiled, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you, Aria. How do you know Victor?"

"Oh, we have mutual acquaintances," Aria replied smoothly. "I’ve always been fascinated by his projects."

As they chatted, Aria steered the conversation towards Project Orion, trying to gauge Evelyn's knowledge. "I heard Victor is involved in some groundbreaking tech development. Any exciting projects on the horizon?"

Evelyn's eyes flickered with interest. "Yes, he's working on something big. It’s all very hush-hush, but let's just say it could change the landscape of military technology."

Aria's heart raced. "That sounds intriguing. Do you think he’s planning to announce it soon?"

"Possibly," Evelyn replied, her voice lowering conspiratorially. "There’s a major meeting next week. If everything goes according to plan, it could be a game-changer."

Aria's blood ran cold as she listened. Stone's ambitions were far more dangerous than she had imagined. They needed to stop him.

As the presentation continued, Aria spotted an unguarded door leading to a side room. She signaled to Liam and Alexander, and they made their way towards it, slipping inside undetected. The room was filled with documents and computer terminals, evidence of the project's inner workings.

"We need to gather as much information as we can," Aria whispered. "Take photos, copy files, anything that can help us expose this."

They worked quickly, their actions fueled by urgency. Just as they finished, they heard footsteps approaching. Aria’s heart pounded as they hid behind a row of filing cabinets, holding their breath.

The door opened, and Victor Stone entered, accompanied by two guards. Aria peeked through a crack, her eyes narrowing as she watched them. Stone walked to a computer terminal, typing rapidly.

Aria exchanged a glance with Liam and Alexander. They had the information they needed, but they had to get out before they were discovered. As Stone and the guards turned their backs, they slipped out of the room, making their way to the exit.

The night air felt like a relief as they emerged from the building. They ran towards their getaway car, their hearts pounding with a mix of fear and determination.

"Did you get everything?" Liam asked as they sped away.

Aria nodded, holding up a USB drive. "We have enough to expose everything. Stone's plans, his connections, all of it."

They returned to their war room, working through the night to compile the evidence. Julia joined them, her face pale with determination. "This is it. With this, we can bring Stone and his associates down."
