A wave of disappointment washed over Jovana after a long moment. She was losing her footing and was starting to give up hope.
"Anything else?" David asked coldly without raising his head.
Biting her lip, Jovana answered," Actually... I would like to borrow some money from you, Mr. Brown."
"How much?" David asked patiently, raising an eyebrow at her.
He had already known her answer.
"Five million dollars," Jovana replied expectantly. If David was willing to lend her the money, she wouldn't have to worry about the debt with Catherine Taylor anymore!
David sneered at her answer, a deep mocking laugh reverberated on the office walls.
