Torture part 1

Leo and Clover has arrived at Crystal Valley. Clover keeps to herself,she doesn't want Leo to know the pain she is going through. It was either the mission or the pain she's going through. She remained silent. A guard came up and asked them what they want. He let them in,unknowingly. The castle glowed,it was made of the special substance given to the white spirit,white crystals.At a distance,Rey Demar watches them enter.

Leo Sunsette's Pov:

She had a devilish look,beady eyes,proper body. She had long,black hair and a proper posture. Nothing short of a princess,a devious one. She invited us in with that chilling smile. Her huge gates opened,made a niose that sent all the birds flying and ice fell to the ground. An icicle almost fell on Clover,but I caught it with my hand.

The courtyard had the landscape and foggy scenery of a graveyard. Young servants scraping the ice away in their thin clothes,some of them didn't have any. I looked at them and understood it then, when I saw their brown skin. Slaves from a foreign city,a city Senah Virqua origined from.

Her throne room was empty with only one throne and servants,slaves actually,cleaning and polishing. Each one of them,seemed to have no life in them,just bodies of flesh moving around,while,she sat there and smiled,amost like something is holding her in that position.

Her face was pure white and looked like glass in my eyes. She looked like a doll,with the hair and eyes. She stood up,composed and proper. "Welcome to the Crystal Valley! The greatest city of all time. Leo and Clover,my visitors,how can I help you?"

"Hello, Lady Rey of ravishing beauty,we have come for peace between the valleys and union on the ruler of the First Valley."

"Hmmm,I didn't realise up till now that my guards allowed the enemy into my great city,once ruled by my great mother." She told one of the servants to bring the guard. The servant ran quickly and carefully not falling down on the smooth marble.

The guard came in with fear and hesitation.

"Did you let them in without telling me that they are enemies of this city?"

"Yes but Lady Re-"

A huge glowing spike rised from the ground and cut his head off. His body fell,leaving his head on the spike. The servants quickly washed the blood away. She burned his body with her white flames and sat back on her throne,composed and proper.

"You see,Leo Sunsette, I have my mother's strength,a power that Senah should fear. I am white spirited and it known that black and white spirits can constuct,and destruct,live and terrain. That spike is simply my mother's strength."

She showed us a necklace. In the center was a white crystal that seemed to be glowing. My mind was still trying to understand what just happened."Before she died of sickness,she gave me her powers. Another ability of white spirits. My mother fought for power and I will do the same. There will be no peace until Senah Virqua's head is on a spike."

"Lady Rey,the Brotherhood still lives,we have to fight them together,fighting against each other will only help their cause. This war has to stop now,we have come to demand peace!"

"Take them to their chambers! We shall speak later. I have a war to win." She walked away,composed and proper.

That night.

There is clearly no reasoning with Rey,she wants blood and to show her true powers. A white spirit is strong and she has shown them that. It's cold in that castle but worse at night. Clover sat in her room,seperated,she can barely feel her limbs and her flames are not enough to keep her warm. They have to leave and now.

Clover Virqua's Pov:

I sat in the coldness alone. We were given separate rooms. Lady Rey forbids men and woman to sleep together. She said it only leads to more servants. Leo knocked on the door with the signal I gave him. He walked in and sat down quietly.

"What are you thinking of,my love?"

"This woman is possessed by something or someone that makes her commit these awful crimes. She plans to kill all her enemies for a piece of land. It's f*****g crap. She killed a poor f*****g man in front of us!"

I went close to him and held his hand.

"We should not have come,there is nothing we can do to change her mind."

"Why do I listen to Nikolai?! He was only thinking of Denvor's c**k. Now we might get killed here. We have to leave,and now. Get your clothes and whatever you need. We are leaving tonight."

I fear for the lives of our soldiers and Senah's army,this war will bring many deaths to our world. These woman rule and start wars,conquer lands and I just follow the orders of men.

We arrived at the gate. Opening it would make too much noise. We climbed up to watch's tower and ambushed the man on guard,we climbed down the other end and landed. All that was ahead was darkness. We were free,unbelievably lucky to escape easily. We began to walk slowly when my body froze and a sharp pain came at my leg. There was a white spike that stabbed my calf,I was stuck. The door began to open.

"Leo...go!"

"No!"

He ran towards me,trying to free me before they come.

He burned the glowing spike but it was no use. He tried breaking it,but it remained the same.

"That hurts,you know,they say you should never hurt a woman's feelings. You're just leaving without saying goodbye."

She stood there with her creepy doll face and watched me struggle in pain. The blood stained the snow. "You will not leave and ruin my plan to seize the First Valley."

"Why don't you fight like a true warrior and take of that mask of yours. We know you are hiding something,"I yelled in pain.

"Oh my,I'm so offended. You come into my home and insult my face. I've never met someone so rude that is still alive. Killing you would be easy now but I have other plans."

I looked back and Leo...no. His hands were struck by her white spikes and his body hanged there with his head down. I realized then that I allowed for the pain and suffering to happen. I didn't protect myself or anyone. I didn't think for myself. My head was filled with Haleina's words.

"Nothing can beat my power,the power of the white spirit. Guards,take them to the ice room and freeze them until their limbs fall off." They dragged Leo inside and took me along. I could barely walk. I deserve this for hurting my family. If I join the Swallows the pain will go away,that's if I survive this.

The next night.

They're bodies can't move and their chained up to the walls. Clover stares at Leo as he suffers. She can't do anything and was consumed by helplessness. Leo was pinned at his hands and they bled. The cuts from his duel with Dandelion were open now,they bled. Clover's leg was cut badly,a big hole on my calf,it bled. The blood that oozed from their bodies and froze on the outside. She stared amd he suffered.

"Do you wish to hear a story,Clover?,"Rey came around the corner and said. Clover turned her head but Rey pulled it back. Leo tried to escape,he furiously failed."Let go of her,"Leo shouted. Rey smiled at his fury and laughed hysterically. "Does he love you?,"enquired Rey. Clover remained silent. "Answer me!,"Rey demanded. She nodded and smiled at Leo.

"You let this man control you and now look were you are. You were safe in the castle and then you tried to leave. Bad choice,"Rey said."Are you are a virgin."

"No,"Clover answered.

"If only you had a mind of your own."

Her hands crawled slowly down Clover's body. She tore her clothes out and threw it on the floor. Clover was bare naked and she began to cry.

"There you are,slut. Now everything is perfect."

Rey walked out and closed the door behind them.

Clover Virqua's Pov:

I was numb,nothing to think of,nothing to feel. Somehow,Haleina's words still remained in my head. Playing over and over. Going to Swallows' Mountain will stop all the suffering,first I have to leave here. I must survive for my my freedom.

The next morning.

Rey Demar enters to dungeon. It was bitterly cold,even for her. She stared down at the necklace and opened the door. She ordered the servants to feed them,only a little."I want you to die,but not so quickly,"she said.

When they were done eating,she walked up to Clover and whispered in her ears. Leo could barely hear what she said. Rey stood there for a long time and when she left,Leo looked at Clover and she began to cry.

Rey took her army of the gates. She left,leaving a few guards behind to watch Clover and Leo.

Author's note:

We are heading towards the end of the book. Rey and Senah are still driven to fight at the First Valley,Maxwell is missing and the Brotherhood is waiting to attack.

Every situation is temporary.
