Virqua part 3

The room was silent,so silent that you could hear the water splashing in the river down below. Lord Wallis is confused about Leo's proposal and to some quite hilarious but what he's proposing could threaten the chance of being able to cross the Still Water for Maxwell. No ship,no way of looking for Dona and Denvor.

Clover is frightened more than ever. She earned but he went against her wishes. A part of her wishes he said nothing but there's a chance,only a chance,that he will win her freedom.

Leo Sunsette's Pov:

They eyes were locked on me. Clover was trembling as she stood next to her father. I could hear behind my head,voices telling me to stop or to sit down. If I stopped now who would save Clover.

"I wish to speak."

"Seize him,"said Lord Wallis.

Dandelion and his companions had their swords and Dandelion waited to burn me with his flame. "Father,this boy is conniving peasant,we shouldn't trust him."

"Let him speak,"Lord Wallis said. They all slowly backed away and I stepped forward. Lord Wallis stood up and waited for me to begin. Clover stared at me,her eyes cried for me to stop. This is wrong,no one is going to make it right other than me.

"I wish to announce that I will be marrying Clover. I have come here to seek your blessings."

Most of Dandelion's men laughed,some of them stepped closer.

"My blessings will be no use. Clover is already betrothed,"Lord Wallis stated.

" She decided to marry me first. She didn't tell you became she was scared that you might reject my offer."

He turned and looked at his daughter. Clover was anxious and the squire realized that and got her a cup of wine. She said thank you in a trembling voice. Her hands were shaking,she carefully took a sip. "Is is boy telling the truth? Do you love him?"

She dropped the glass and it shattered at her feet. The servants quickly cleaned the mess. Everyone was silent,waiting for her reply. "It's not true." My heart sank. The fear her father inflicted on her,made her say she never loved me. Dandelion grabbed me by the throat and held tight. I fell to the floor.

"No,father,please don't kill him." She finally spoke and to her father's shock that she actually did. "These people have come for help and this man is here to elope with me. I love him,father,not Kenny Grova. Listen to me ,father, spare his life so he can return home alive. If he dies,you will begin a war that you can not win."

"Well,darling. Perhaps I won't kill him," he waved at Dandelion and he let go of me and the guards stepped back,"but keeping him alive means that he will still try to take you away. If he wants,he must fight for his honour and blessing. Tommorow, he will fight for your freedom and if he wins a duel,you can leave. If not your heading to the Black Castle and he will remain in this castle as a ward. Do you understand,Clover?"

"Yes,father."

"I'll make the duel challenging for him. Dandelion,bring him to his knees tommorow."

"Yes,father. I won't disappoint you,"Dandelion said as he bent his knee.

"I will give Prince Martin a ship and 50 men. Alright,carry on now."

The music started again and the people went back to being drunk and asleep. I've done it,my last chance to prove my love. "Good luck,peasant boy,I've had more practice than you." Dandelion poked at me with his sword. Marty saw it and watched closely. I charged him and aimed for his throat.

Marty caught me in time and whispered in my ears,"Save your fury for tommorow,then you can slit this prick's throat. I know something that can help you win."

"Alright,then."

He let go of me. I sat down and drank my first cup of wine. The kitchen's lady's daughter came to me and told me,"Clover wishes to see you,come with me."

I stood there as she cryed. I promised her I will not lose. Clover, no matter what happens I will always love. Our lips meet together,once more,we fell onto the bed and passioned.

The next morning.

The people were excited,a duel would take place after such a long time by the stakes were high,it would decide Clover's future. Dandelion has never lost a duel.

Martin Foresste's Pov:

The sun was rising and he hadn't arrived yet. I took a pull and the smoke made a cloud. Every time I see one it just reminds me of Daisie. Her sister was mortified,when she died. Many other orphans died that night. I could have saved them too but I was too afraid. He came about,no armour and one sword.

"I guess you're too poor to even get free armour."

"Don't need it."

"In this duel,you're going to need armour near your heart,your c**k and your neck. He targets those areas. I spoke with Lord Wallis earlier and I watched Dandelion fight. I think I have enough knowledge about how they battle in the north. Let's begin."

A red fox is fast and sly,I wonder what a dragon can do. His yellow dragon was quite big and its flames could burn this very castle down. We battled first with our beasts,he was a good fighter,very aggressive. He caught me by the tail and raised me towards his mouth and opened it wide showing all his teeth and in the back of his throat was fire waiting to blast away.

He through me on the floor. I dusted myself and began to feel the pain and burn.

"You're more ready than I thought,she must have big tits."

He charged at me and I jabbed his neck. He was left coughing and unable to breath. I lit another Blackhill.

" You see,Dandelion's beast is a wasp,similar to Clover's bee,he could stab his stinger into your neck,and you'll be dead. Wear some armour boy or be fast enough to evade death. There are coming in a hour,see you then,lover boy."

Leo Sunsette's Pov:

Our horses were fed and our men were ready to leave. Only one last thing to do. Everyone was in the courtyard,waiting for the battle to begin. I stood there waiting while Dandelion put his armour on. He grabbed his sword,threw the scabbard on the floor and his squire picked it up. Clover watched with hope and fear in her eyes. I nodded at her. Lord Wallis arrived, bottle of wine in his hands and that woman was next to him. "Well,get it over and done with!"

We started,he came straight towards me with his sword but I stepped aside and went for a hit on the back. He quickly threw his sword onto his other hand and cut my arm."That's for f*****g my sister." He felt a sudden pain. He touched his stomach and saw blood in his hands. I dropped the dagger on the floor.

He presented his aura and ran towards me,too fast for me to react and stabbed my knee. My aura emitted as well, I caught him on the back. Now his armour was red. "Every time I touch you,you get me. You poor boy playing the act."

He took of his armour and transformed. He was striped and made a huge noise with his buzzing,which was masculine and distorted. The sound of a monster. I stood there,calm,while the people cheered for him. He flew around the castle like a giant bug and came towards me. People screamed in terror when he turned his stinger on me.

When Dandelion transformed back, he thought he won. He raised his arms and waited for cheers. He looked back and saw me stuck with the stinger in my wing. I tore it off,sacrificing my wing. I transformed back and barely stayed on my legs. Clover looked in disbelief. Dandelion was tired as well,he grabbed his sword once more,so did I. I learned his tricks and he learned mine.

He swung his sword at me, using the same moves. I danced around his strikes and waited for the right moment. He came again and hit my chest,I grabbed his sword,not allowing for his sword to go any deeper. I dropped my sword and set Dandelion's sword on fire. I let out huge flames and burnt down his sword. The anger inside me surfaced and I had no more control. I burnt him over and over again. Destroying his clothes one by one.

He was bare and he fell to ground. His skin was peeling off. I took my flame and grabbed his throat. "Leo,stop,please." I woke up and released I had won. Clover jumped on me and the people cheered. She was free and I was free to love her. She brought her things to the carts and we said our goodbyes. Oscar said goodbye to his lady,Rakai her name was. Lord Wallis was gone and Dandelion was treated by a healer. He was staring at us. I hugged Clover tighter and rode away with her. We arrived at the bay and boarded the ship. The sun was setting and we kissed on the ocean abyss.

That evening.

Dandelion lost but it seemed too easy. Was there something being hiden?

Wallis Virqua's Pov:

He had to lose that was the only way they would leave.

"Bring him here."

"Yes,father."

"Thank you losing the battle. I hope you heal quickly,we have to stop these people from taking over our castle."

"Yes,father."

"Thank you for holding your tongue but we are not going anywhere," Jeffrey said.

I looked down and there was a sword against my neck.

Author's note:

Some of you are thinking that this book is going to be short,not actually. This is only the third chapter. I still have six more to go.

Many interactions and scenes are important in this one. So stay focused and comment your theories about some vague characters or other things.

There is so much more to come and I'm working as fast as possible to complete this book. I do apologize if you are reading part by part and is waiting constantly for something new.
