Chapter 8

"Girl's two more minutes before the music starts" Brean's mother tells us, straightening her daughter's tiara. She dotes on Brean a little more before sniffling and rushing out before she ruins her mascara. Brean rolls her eyes, taking Kasey and mine hands in hers. "I'm absolutely so grateful to have had both your support right up to this day." "No, no" I tell my best friend folding my arms. "You don't get to drop me flat on my face, then say something sweet to cover it up." I glared in Kasey's direction likewise. "Both of you, running off with men." I point accusingly in Brean's direction. "You weren't even supposed to see the groom before the wedding." My best friend's blush, Brean moving to look at herself a final time in the mirror, brushing my comment away. "Oh please I don't believe in that stupid superstition about bad luck seeing the groom before the wedding day and even if I walk down that isle now and rain starts pouring, I'm still marrying him. Another woman can find her own Jon, I'm not giving up mine." "Wow, that's a bold statement to say Bre." Kasey chips in. Bre shrugs. "I love him. In any case Vi, I'm sure Jon's brother was with you." Kasey whistles. "Damn, you guys must have had a rowdy night!" I narrowed my eyes on my best friends. "Sure if you classify him hogging half the bed." "I'd definitely cuddle up close, I mean, it's my bed and all" Kasey says and they both giggle together. "Are you suggesting I should be happy because you both left me with a gorgeous nightmare?!" "Yes!" the witches exclaimed in unison. My mouth opens but then I don't finish when the music starts and I grab my bouquets. "This isn't over" I tell Brean but she only laughs, blowing me a kiss. Gitters consume me as I walk down the ridiculously long isle, heading to where Jon stood with his brother and my nightmare. My eyes shift to the guests, the worst thing to do since my anxiety hits the roof when I realized I'm still a little way off. Every limb inside me freezes when those hard, dark eyes connect with mine. I can't move, my breathing hitched. No, no, no. Not him, it can't be him! "Viven, you're holding up the procession" Kasey whisper scolds behind me. "Wat....Watson." "Watson?" She repeats glancing around. "Where?" "Wat...." My entire body trembled as if I was on the verge of a seizure. "Oh" Kasey says casually. "Seems he's here with a guest. But we need to move now or Bre will have a fit!" When I don't budge, Kasey grabs my arm with an exasperated groan pulling me along. I don't have any idea how the wedding moved along, I hear cheers but don't. I smile for a camera that's there but isn't and lift my glass to toasts that don't make it to my ears. The only thing I'm aware of is Watson's piercing gaze that follows me everywhere. I needed an escape to gather myself. "I....I'm not feeling very well" I tell Kasey that's smiling and laughing with her date. She glances up, looking me over. "Yeah, you do look a little pale. Do you want me to come keep you company?" "No, no" I shake my head just needing to escape. "I'll be fine. Just let Bre know I've head in for the night." "And Kellan?" she asks. "What about the asshole?" Kasey throws me an unimpressed look. "You really need to chill. Plus, I think you're supposed to take a photo with him, maid of honor, best man thingy. And he was mentioning to Jon, maybe he can get you to dance." "Well lucky him I've got a tummy ache" And a growing anxiety attack. I hurry out, not bothering to check where in the room Watson might be. I sigh a breath of relief when I make it almost to my room and find myself home free. My feet are weak, and I pause, huffing as if I've ran a marathon, attempting to catch a breath. "I waited an entire day, for us to be alone" My skin crawls when I hear his voice and suddenly I find myself paralyzed. "My small Viven, where have you ran off to?" His measley fingers thread through my hair and down my spine. "Wats..." I swallow attempting to keep myself together. "Watson...." Goosebumps cover my skin when when leans into me, rubbing his nose against my cheek. "I've missed you, haven't you missed me?" "I....I....." my words are caught in my throat as his hands roam me like his possession, pressed against the wall. I'm his caught prey and I don't know how to escape his hook. "Please let me go" "Never" he whispers. "I'm taking you home, where youu belong." "No" I whisper. "I'm not going back, I'm...." "Love, I know we disagreed on the candle light dinner on the water, but standing me up, I didn't expect you were upset this bad." Kellan makes his way over towards me, rocking jeans and a dark tee. His hair is left wild and out of place as if he's ran his hand through it many times. Watson's eyes bore into him, a silent warning that the stranger should keep walking. I almost want him to as well. All Kellan's presence will do would be to make matters worse for me. But as fate would have it, my nightmare halts only inches from me, his hands moving to change my gaze in his direction. "Really and here I thought I was enough for you" He says to me as if Watson wasn't standing there. My mouth parts but no words come out, my anxiety hitting the roof as my eyes dart back to Watson to see what he'll do. "Who the f**k are you?!" He barks. "My bad" Kellan answers casually. "I'm her fiance." "Fiance!" Watson and I both chant simultaneously. His eyes buldged and neck strained beneath his anger, while I was left reeling from Kellan's unorthodox answer. "That's the reason I suggested the candlelight dinner love" he pulls a small box from his pocket, throwing back the small cover revealing a beautiful blue diamond. I'm in shock yet completely flattered. Baffled actually as I rock my brain, where in hell he could've gotten such an expensive rock. But then upon closer inspection, I realized the damn accessory belonged to Brean. Why the hell was he in position of it? Kellan doesn't waste any time in slipping the ring onto my finger, pulling me into his side to kiss me against my temple. "It's okay love," he tells me. "I know you wouldn't reject me." "Fiance" Watson questions angrily. "What bullshit is this?" He sizes Kellan up, hissing to himself. "This is a joke!" "Why would you think that?" Kellan questions, his hand now slipping around my waist. It's like a subtle move of possession that Watson registers instantly, that makes his jaw tick. I can tell he doesn't like the assertiveness that Kellan was giving off at the moment and for the fact that I wasn't pushing him away, only made matters worse. "First of all, Viven doesn't date delinquents. Especially ones that are covered in paste" Waton spits nodding to the tattoos on Kellan's arm. "Let me guess, you're her ex." "Yes and no" Watson answers begrudgingly. "Viven will always be mine." I flinch at his statement, recoiling into Kellan, that grounds me into his chest. His hard and wide, the one place at the moment that doesn't feel like I'm waiting to be murdered. All I want at this moment is for the ground to swallow me whole. Just to open up and swallow me. Watson?! How and why the hell was he ever able to make it to Brean's wedding? We had done everything meticulously to ensure we didn't accidently invite anyone from his circle. Yet here my trauma was in living colors, haunting me once more. "Guess now we know why you're an ex." "Listen i***t, I don't know who you are or what you want, but this is a private conversation and you're not invited!" Watson's hand grips my upper arm, his nail biting into my skin and I hiss from the pain. "And that's quite alright with me" Kellan hissed in retort. "But she's my woman and I'm not leaving her behind." I watch in shock as his hand moves to Watson's, a finger digging into the inside of Watson's wrist, forcing him to release his hand from mine immediately. My ex glares at both of us from where he stands nursing his arm. "You're with that scum Viven?! How dare you?" "Well grant it we reside together and slept together even up to this morning. I'd say it says it all" Kellan answers before I can. "You little w***e!" "Excuse me!" I shot back. "I did everything for you. Everything. Made you what you are today and this is what you've been doing?" "Well to be fair" Kellan interjects. "If you leave her unsatisfied, there's always someone willing and able to fill that void. Hence while you were out laying it elsewhere, I ensured that she had what she need. Let's go love. Everyone's waiting on us." I don't get the chance to answer when Kellan pulls me away, but I can see from the glare that Watson sent our way that this conversation was far from finished. Kellan didn't even know what he got himself into. Watson could trump him anytime he pleases. His business would flop, his reputation tarnished. He'd be done for, aligning himself with me. "Don't say it" Kellan tells me when we're back in my room alone. "You're really an i***t for sticking up for me" "I told you not to say it." "He will make your life hell Kellan, you don't understand!" "Dammit Viven, does it look like I give a f**k?! I don't like entitled brats or abusers. Especially the ones who only see women as possessions." I rub the back of my arm feeling a little called out from his descriptions. I was abused by Watson and turned into nothing but a walking, smiling object that should remain on his shelf. Never to have a voice or opinion of my own- or life for that matter. "I still think you've made a grave mis-" I don't get to finish my statement when Kellan kisses me. It's harsh and demanding, his tongue adamant about claiming mine, both dancing together, tasting yet sparing each other as they fought together. His hand is wild and searching on my person, groping yet sure as he yanks at the buttons that keeps my dress together. I pull away, gasping as I glared at him. "You're ruining my dress!" "I'm going to f**k you " Kellan tells me, his eyes now a darker stormy shade of blue. Fear lurks in the pit of my stomach recalling to mine the python he has caged up. "What, no!" "Yes" he tells me darkly, kissing the underside of my neck as he rips the remaining buttons away and pulling my dress down. "And you're going to like it." "No" I tell him breathily, my feet now wrapped around his waist. Damn I can feel him pulsing between my legs or was that me? There's a level of excitement that pours through me at his brutish revelation. I'm so starved that taking me right here instead of against the bed didn't sound like robbery at all. But I wasn't ever telling him that. "Yes" Kellan answers between our tantalizing kisses. "You can't say no." His hands massages my breasts ever so softly, pinching at my n*****s to add a tinge of pain. It's the best feeling I've had since forever and unconsciously I rub against the bastard, needing friction elsewhere. "That'd be r**e" I tell him. "No, it's not r**e" His mouth moves to take a n****e in his mouth after unclipping my bra. "You want this too. You will consent, just that you can't say no." I know we're moving, and only know when I'm against the bed, feeling the soft material against my back. Kellan stands between my feet, my eyes opening to find him taking me in, like the cornered prey that I am. He removes my underwear slowly, as if committing every act to memory, every part of me engraved into his soul. Good thing you shaved, my mind jeers. I swallow when he removes his shirt, the eagle's wings spread across that large expanse of chest that goes on for miles. I'm sure I've probably wet the bed with how horny I am to accept him. Kellan's pants falls to the ground with a soft thud, followed by his underpants and my God will this man ruin me. He strokes himself, eyes glued to mine as he moves closer, widening my feet in the process. "We, we need a condom" I tell him reaching across to the drawers. I'm pretty sure they must have packed some for the room. "No, no condoms" I pause mid stretch gazing at him. Was he out if his mind?! "I'm not having s*x with you without a condom!" "We're having s*x Viven without a condom" Kellan tells me hovering over my sprawled body. He could force his way inside me and there was nothing I could do to stop him. Just like Watson had done. For a moment fear overwhelms me, my breathing increases as my eyes dart to the door, a hand pressed against his chest keeping him at bay. "I'm not using it Viven. I want you to feel me just like I want to feel you. It's our first time and f**k it won't be our last but I won't. I'm not going to get you pregnant, trust me." My heart still hammers away in my chest, my fear still palable. "Trust me" Kellan whispers and I nod, removing my hand from his chest. "Good girl" he praises just as his fingers enter me. I squirm beneath him, my body overwhelmed with senses, unable to make sense of how good I felt. My body shuddered, as moans slipped from my mouth, his fingers crooked and found that weak spot that was my demise. "Take a deep breath" Kellan says his voice barely audible as I felt the blunt tip of him, forcing against my entrance. The breath I take is caught in my throat when he surges into me. He's thick and huge, a weapon of destruction that was made to make me combust even after a few strokes. Kellan's pace is slow, sure, determined and my God isn't it sweet when f**king isn't hurried or treated like a formality. I curse and moan, call his name and claw at his back. I'm filled and emptied, stretched and sensitive yet I can't stop, I don't want him to stop. The sheet burn into my knees as he take me from behind, the small slaps Kellan leaves against my skin, both from his hand and rocking into me, sending delicious sparks up and down my spine. We're both so close, dripping, sweating, ailing to become more and more intertwined. We're still together even into the middle of the morning, Kellan still inside me. I've never done this with anyone, yet it almost feels right with Kellan. I prop myself up on one arm, gazing at him beneath the sunlight. He's a beautiful man, colored and all and definitely knows how to f**k. I lick my lips as my eyes slid to his lips and kiss too, I remind myself. But then the overwhelming urge to pee becomes more urgent than oogling him. I attempt to empty myself of him, a hand moving to keep me sheilding his c*ck. "What are you doing?" he asked eyes still closed. "I need to pee." His tongue darts out first, licking his lips before his ocean blue eyes open. Another hand moves to my hips, both gentlely rocking me against him and I tremble. Again. "Kellan, I need to pee" "And I wanna f**k" "Fine. After I pee and grab a condom." He shakes his head against his pillow. "None the first time, or second, or third. None at all" "You said after the first time" I slap his shoulder huffing, yet unable to stay completely mad when he's slowly f**king me. "You lied to me, asshole." His eyebrows arch as he gently lifts me from his body, only to impale me later. "I hate you" I mumble to him, reaching for his shoulders to steady myself. "You have to do better than before." His cocky smile slips on his lips. "Is that a request?" "I'm demanding it." He laughs. "Be careful what you wish for sweetheart."
