Chapter 3
Felix and I talked about many other things before he finally took me back home. Back home to where all my fears and worries rose like dough to hunt me again.
I kept many things from him, especially the full details of what the New PA said to me when he saw me. I didn't understand those things myself so I wasn't planning to make someone else confused. And besides, it seemed we were both keeping something away from each other and it was fine by me.
I fell to my bed without even taking off my heels and shoes.
Some hours which felt like minutes, I woke up in a dark full room. There had been a power outage for about two days and I wasn't even informed of the reason yet.
I took off my heels and unzipped my gown. When I was done I walked to the kitchen to get myself something to eat.
Well, pancakes might do for now.
I opened the two cupboards and brought out the few cups of floor left. It wouldn't be enough but it could be managed.
I prepared everything but there were some other things I needed to get. I needed foodstuff. I wouldn't have bothered because my little sister used to buy those stuff from groceries before I get back home, but now she was gone.
I sighed. I needed to buy some stuff. I went back to my room to put on my nightdress. It was dark so people care less about your appearance. And the only thing I needed to get was very close to my house.
I needed sugar for the pancakes. No matter what you say, I couldn't eat one without it.
My stomach rumbled reminding me of a matter yet to attend to.
I took some money and walked out of the house while locking the door in case of any burglary.
Few people were walking up and down the streets and the heavy wind blew me to a completely different part. It was that time those thoughts begin to wallop in my brain. To start with, my parents died in a plane crash, honestly, it had begun to be a cliche that I tell almost everyone anytime they ask when they wonder why I was living alone with no relatives.
After my parents died, life had been so hard. It was a huge crisis for us as my little sister stopped school a few years later just because I was unable to fend for her. Luckily for me, I had just finished high school. Though we were home trained as my late parents were so scared to let us out of the compound let alone school in a distant place.
So we were homeschooled and as far as I could remember our parents had paid our future school fees for very few years. That was what aided me.
We were brilliant and we could also compete with students who were school-trained. But we never had that joy, we never knew what it meant to chat with other people aside from our family. So I was such an introvert then.
I didn't even notice I had passed where I planned to buy some stuff, so I walked further because there was also a shop which I knew by now, would still be open.
I could barely face the reality as those pains and images appeared one by one to hunt me. Tears were already swimming along my face I just kept on walking.
I didn't see carefully but I just kept going. Trying to let out my pain.
Being alive was more than painful. The one I thought I could trust had left me.
He was my ex and like you would have known, I had opened my legs and he thought he had tasted all good when I told him I was pregnant.
Unable to bear another wound for so long, I killed my baby. I had killed a baby but... I thought it would have been better if he hadn't come to the world in pain. After I thought my pain had started to fade or decrease, my little sister, Mimi was kidn*pped.
Damned, the world!
But I was trying to make things go back to the way it was. It wouldn't but I was going to try.
Some cars parked at my front and I just stopped. I rubbed off the tears from my eyes and kept walking not until I saw what was happening. About fifteen people were lying dead, some were bleeding and some were wailing and running. What had these streets become?
I hastily passed behind the crowd but an unintended gasp flew through my lips when a strong hand drew my hair roughly into the car's backseat and I shouted. No, Adina. You are being reckless again?
I struggled to free myself but I felt a dirty rug being placed on my nose to keep me from breathing. The only thing I could remember was inhaling some disgusting smell before my eyes fell closed.
My head slowly fell to my left and I could feel a shoulder beneath it.
I was been kidn*pped!
What other bad things did life have in store for me? I knew there was nothing good anymore.

A hot heavy chain landed on my back and the pain that erupted from my mouth was so loud that you would think it was heavy thunder.
I sat uprightly as I noticed I was naked. My clothes were ripped off me and I was only in my undies. I raised my eyes to look at two ugly eyes staring at me. He looked like a giant and those muscles were huge. I swallowed hard and attempted to stand up before a kick landed on the side of my stomach. I winced as I remained sitting.
I heard a familiar voice, "Call master and tell him she is awake."
I looked up and my eyes landed on that wicked grin. Jethro. He looked fiery and hungry. His eyes swept through my body and I curled up trying to cover my skin but it did nothing.
My surroundings were like an ancient ones with built heavy-looking tall walls. The floor wasn't tiled but sands and gravel filled it. My panty was wet as I was probably sitting on soaked soil. There were no windows but the room was very cold.
There were no beatings anymore too. Jethro whispered something to a man standing beside him and others walked away. They were also big men like Jethro. I knew this man's intention was pure evil at first, I just didn't know that I would be attacked so early.
After some minutes, a man walked majestically into the room, I shivered as my skin froze to the sudden change in the aura. Though my head was pointing to the floor my instinct could tell this was their master.
"Rosella?" His voice sounded as if millions of pins were pulled into one's skin, I winced and frowned. They have mistaken me for someone I didn't even know?
Then those questions followed, " Are you back, Rosella?
There was this sudden rush of blood in my veins as those words stricken my eardrums. I lifted my head a little to see a man's face staring disdainfully at me. "You mean you don't remember?"
I twitched at those words as hot tears swept down my tears. I felt dirty, cold, and strange. I managed to talk, " Please you are mistaken, I didn't kill anyone. I swear to..."
He grinned as I muttered and I found out that something was intriguing in those teeth.
There was practically something intriguing in every part of him. Just the same way I felt with Jethro.
"Rosella, this is the only chance to be saved. If my minions are fond of you, you might be released," the man said. He looked mysteriously handsome. Just like those male leads, I watched back then. He had white short hair and I found it hard to believe it was his. His eyebrows were white and his skin was gloriously pale. He wasn't from this planet, I was sure of that.
I gazed at him before replying, "I don't know what you are talking about, please let me go. I will give you anything I can."
He sighed as he stood upwards, "Your death would be painful if you keep on with this act." With this, he walked out of the room leaving behind Jethro and meeeemetrothro helped me to my toes and handed over me a black cotton shirt. Without further bustle, I put it on.
He stepped to the door and I followed suit. He didn't tell me to, but his gestures seemed to tell me just exactly what to do.
When I walked out of the room, a fresh breeze first landed on my forehead and then on the rest of my body. I felt free. My dirty skin was hidden beneath the long shirt and many eyes followed me as I walked sluggishly.
Some people were busy but their eyes remained fixed on me, while you see others previously walking on their way laughing and at me, some were gossiping. They set their eyes on me like I was some forgotten treasure. Some with pity and some with hatred. It was hard to bear and even understand what all those messages were. It was even hard to focus on wherever I was led to. The hardest part was that they didn't look normal. They were all just different.
I didn't know why I was being kidn*pped, my sister was kidn*pped too before she got killed. So I was sure I was going to get to the bottom of this. My back was sore and I could tell that it was already red and swollen.
We walked past through the passageway which was decorated with statues of dragons, old myths, and some other ancient descriptions.
This time, I already passed through seven arcs before we took a left turn. I was trying to jot into my head every place so that if I wanted to escape, I would.
I examined the distance and it looked as if we still had to go a very long straight distance before we get outside of this building.
I summoned all my courage to ask, "Where are you taking me to, sir?"
He stopped and glared at me with an eyebrow squeezed up. He was taking a long time to answer and I wondered if he was deciding to answer me or not.
His aura was darkening and I recalled the things Felix told me about Jethro Miller fighting some pot dealers. He might be one of them. Pot dealers were insane people. Reality has been torn away from them and they would do their best to tear your reality from you too.
Before I could give up since he looked like he wasn't going to reply any soon, he replied, "To the torture room."
What was that?!
