The hidden chamber collapsed behind them.
A deafening roar chased Damien and the others through the narrow stone passage as ancient masonry crashed where they had been standing only moments before.
Dust swallowed the corridor. The floor lurched violently beneath their feet.

Damien barked. No one argued.
Vance took the lead, cutting through the thick haze while Garrick guarded the rear. Lydia stayed close to Dr. Evelyn, who was helping a limping guard injured during the ambush.
