CHAPTER 3: The start...

Days, Weeks and Months pass. I slowly getting used to this school,and this set up. Working at night and studying in the morning. Ofcourse, I feel so tired every day,  but I always think that 3 more years of hardship and it will be all totally worth it. You can do it Meigan!

I look at my old watch that my dad gave me. This is the only valuable thing that he left, the rest are debts. I'm not mad at my dad, it's just hard. It's half past-nine. I'm cleaned the tables in the library and arrange all the chairs. I went back to the front desk to check if all the books are returned on this day. I count it all. 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7 "Okay, all done. I just need to put it on the correct shelf" . I was walking in the Shelf F of the library when I heard someone crying. I stopped for a moment.

"Hello?, uhmm. Is someone there?"- I asked and walk towards the sound. I guess it's about 2 shelf from me.  The sound suddenly stopped. 

"Hello?" - I shook my head and put back the books. Maybe, this is just some brats who are trying prank me. I was about to go back to the front desk to get my things. When I heard a noise. I look back and *meow* . 

" Oh! , Just a cat"- I sigh and continue walking when.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!" - A tall guy wearing a black polo, with oh, nice biceps. looking at me.

"Why the f**k are you screaming?"- He said and cross his arms. 

"Because you just appeared in front of me! hello? I'm the only one here! I thought you were a ... "- I stopped for a moment "ghost".then look down. He looks so hot, but I hate him. What if I got heart attack? 

"You look a ghost more than me! Do you even see yourself in the mirror? Your foundation is not proportion to your face. You are like espasol and your lips"- He stopped for a moment.

"Sucks!" - He said then went out of the library. Wow! What a freak. 

The next day, everything is normal. Not until 3pm. I was roaming around the school trying to look for a quiet place to review. Midterms is coming in a few weeks, I don't have much time to review when I got home since I'm so tired studying and working. Now, I don't have class because my professor is busy, she just gives us reviewer and boom dismiss. I found this old playground a bit far at the back of building B. No one's here. I sat in one of the swing when I heard someone crying. again? Is there really a ghost in this school? Out of curiosity. I try to find the voice. It's behind the wall in this quiet abandoned like part of school . There is an old rotten house few steps from the swing. I was shaking when I got into the house where I heard a crying sound. I saw one guy on top of another guy. It's not what you think it is!

"Hey !!! STOP!"- The pity guy is on the floor. His face is covered with blood. Crying silently. He can't do anything! this guy on top of him has a nice body. Much stronger than him. 

He slowly look at me "It's nice to see you again!"- He said and smile. It was the guy from the library last night. 

"What the f**k are you doing?"- I shouted. I got more irritated at him. I look at the other guy. He feels so weak but tried to reach his hands to me. 

"What? I'm giving him a lesson."- He stand up and look at me. He doesn't have any emotions at all!

"Lesson? By what? punching him?"- I walk towards the guy. "Are you okay?"- I said. I tried my best to help him stand up. My god! He looks so weak. I pity him.

"Are you sure you want to help that asshole? He deserved it!"- He said. I look back at him and look back to the guy. "Wait"- I said. I lean him back to the wall and walk towards this arrogant, sadistic and weird guy. I don't know where I got all my energy and courage but I punched him in the face. I got shocked for what I did. What if he punched me back? What if I'll have disciplinary action for this? He will tell the guidance what I did. What if. I...will... die today?

He looks back at me. I'm shaking. What the f**k did I do? I just go here to study, why is this happening? I closed my eyes waiting for his punch but wait.. what? 

"Hey!! Where are we going?" - I'm in his shoulder. He is carrying me! OMG!!! my notes! How can I review for my exam? This freaking asshole is the worst. I tried my best to get out but he is too strong, too strong.

All the people were looking at us when we are already in the field of the school. He is still carrying me. I tried to punch his back and bite him but it seems like it's really nothing to him. Is this even a human? Does he feel pain? 

"Omg! She is so lucky! I will do everything to carry by Xavier"- Said the other girl in the elevator. I look at her with all the anger I have, but she just rolled her eyes on me.

"This girl punched me."- Holy Crap! We are now in the President's office. Is this the end of my dreams? Should I say good bye to my future? Oh! Meigan you should think first before doing something. Remember that these brats are rich and if you are rich you can do what you want and control what you want. 

The president look at me "Is this true? Ms. Hernandez?".

I look at the president, oh please give mercy "Because I saw him punching some guy in almost-- abandoned place in school and it's like he was about to kill him. If I wasn't there maybe he will"---

"If I wasn't in the library last night you might got rape by that guy and his friend." - this asshole cut what I am saying but.. what?

He cross his arms again and look at me "heard that cry yesterday?" - I just continue looking at him. I don't know what to say. Did he just save me? "I was walking in the hallway. When I saw these 2 f*****g drunk boys walking in front of me. They look inside the library and look at each other from that moment I know they are planning something. I tried to look inside the library and saw you. Just finished fixing the chairs. The 2 bastards then walk behind you and hide in one of the shelves. You went back to the front desk and fix something. I walked inside. look at them and punch one of them in the face. The other one ran. I don't know if you are stupid enough not to feel that there is someone inside the library other than you"  -- He walks towards me and tap my forehead "You should be alert. stupid!"- Then smirk. 

Ahhhhhhhh!!  I want to scream. One because I didn't know that something bad might happen to me last night and two because this guy that I really hate actually helped me. I look down. I feel so embarrassed, I don't know what to say. Should I say sorry? 

"So, Ms. Hernandez"- The president look at me. I look at him too. without second thoughts I kneel in front of him " I'm sorry. I'm really really sorry. But you know it's not a good reason for him to almost kill that guy, but yeah! Please don't get back my scholarship.This is the only way for me to give a good future for my family" - I just swallowed all my pride. Whatever! I just can't let the scholarship go. 

"Ms. Hernandez. You shouldn't say sorry to me. I'm not the one that you punched.It's my nephew" - I look at the president and look back at this asshole who is now smiling. "N--nephew?"- I asked again.

"Yes, Ms. Hernandez. his father is my brother, one of the owners of this school and the Cowarts corporation"

HOLYYYY. s**t! I can't speak. What I have done? Of all the brats that I want to f*****g punch in this school. I chose the son of one of the owners. I hope this is just a dream. This is just a nightmare. This is just a nightma----

My back is getting hurt from sitting on this shitty chair. I'm inside the clinic beside this stupid girl who just suddenly fainted after he knew I'm one of the Cowarts. What a stupid girl and she got all the guts to punched me in the face? Well, her punch pretty hurts than most of the guys I fought with.

"hmmm.."- She slowly open her eyes. She looks so cute though even though she's dumb. 

"Aaaah!!! What happened? Did you do something to me? no! no!!"- She covered her UN-naked body with a blanket. What the hell should I do with her?

"Excuse me? In your dreams! I'm here because you fainted without even saying sorry. I carry you from there to here. I deserved a THANK YOU, too" - I looked at here without emotions, but seriously I want to f*****g laugh. She's so stupid asf. She looks down and I see her blushing. "Are they going to take back my scholarship?"- her voice is shaking. Is she crying?

"Nope" -She then looks at me brightly "really????"

"But in one condition" - I said. "What is it? I will do everything" -

"Be my personal maid"- then I smirk. Oh no! poor Meigan. What the f**k did you do? HAHAHAHAHA. It's the start of your hell life. Welcome to V University.

"Are you sure he will be your partner Ms. Hernandez?"- I asked my student. Is she sure with her chosen partner? Xavier Cowarts? All I know is this is a bad boy who doesn't care about anything around him. He doesn't even participate in my class. 

"I don't have a choice Ma'am"- She said. I look at xavier at the back together with his cousins. I sigh and look at Meigan again. "If you need any help. I'm here" - She just smiled and gave me their title for their research that I ask them to do. Days run so fast. It feels like yesterday when I first teach in this university and when my life was still quiet. One of the Cowarts keeps on bugging me. Philip, very annoying.

"Okay class. You have enough months to finish that research. So, work hard for it. You'll have holiday on November 1 and 2 might as well start doing it. okay? class dismiss."- I sit and fix everything before I leave. Everyone leaves the classroom except ofcourse....

"Oh! It's October 31st today" - I just continue fixing everything on my desk and not looking at this tall guy in front of me. 

"So, it means in a few days. It will be our 18th birthday."- I stopped and think. 18th birthday of Cowarts. It must be special. "And I want you to be my date"- he said and give me the invitation. It's a black and gold invitation with a few decorations on it. 

"Hahahaha"- I laugh sarcastically. "It looks like women's debut" - I said and shake my head. He became serious and walk towards me. neaaaaaar. very near. Luckily, there aren't any students here as well as in corridors since it's break time. "What are you doing? Hey!"- I pushed him a little but he is too strong. I just close my eyes and wait on his next move. I feel so weak.

"Be there"- I felt his cold breath.I don't know but it tickles me. I feel heat inside me but no I should control myself. I'm his professor and aside from that I'm..... I opened my eyes but he wasn't there anymore. I'm alone inside the room. Luckily, I was about to give in....

no, it can't be.. Not to Cowarts.
