Matteo’s POV
As soon as the phone is hung up Ambrose slams his fist into the table we were all sitting around. I can only imagine how hard that conversation was for him, hearing our mate being depreciated was hard enough for me. But, to have to stay calm while talking to the ones that had taken everything from him and who continue to want to control him, that is next level control he held onto.
All I can say is Ambrose kept his s**t together better than most. Amelia and I made sure to stay on either side of him, so we could maintain physical contact with him the while time, giving him all the support we could through our bond.
