“Wow, it is gorgeous here. Is this like an apartment building or something?” My Mom asked me as we walked into the pack house. It’s weird to think I had all the same thoughts and feelings of awe just a short time ago. It already feels like a lifetime ago, my new life feeling more real than my old one ever did.
“Isn’t it. It is one of the public spaces here in the community. The bottom floor has everything you could possibly need too, kind of like a hotel. It has a swimming pool, library, dining area, game room, theater room, you name it they have it,” I explain to her and watch her as she looks around the spaces we are passing taking it all in.
