Amelia’s POV
“Love, are you okay?” I hear Matteo say but I cannot put meaning to the words long enough to answer. I just look at him hoping he understands. “I’m going to run a bath so you can relax. I’ll order us some dinner and we can spend the rest of the night here together.” He leans down and gently kisses my head.
He leaves and shortly after I hear the tub start to fill up. He comes back to me where I am sitting on the bed and starts helping me undress. He does it in such a caring fashion that I sigh into his care.
After I am naked he lifts me up again and brings me to the bathroom and gently places me in the tub. He reaches over me and turns off the facet. He starts to undress himself and then climbs in behind me.
