We leave for the market around three and taking the tram since parking is a nightmare. I am a little worried about taking Mittens on the tram. She’s well behaved, but there are going to be a lot of people. Getting on the tram, I hold Kayla in my lap. Mittens lays across Alex’s lap so her head can rest on Kayla’s legs.
As we walk from the tram to the market, I hold Kayla’s hand, Alex has Mittens’ lead, and Mittens walks next to Kayla. We walk through the different shops, part of me wishes I could hold Alex’s hand. But since Mittens has to walk next to Kayla, it isn’t an option. While Kayla makes a candle, I lean into Alex. He puts his arm around me. “Is it more fun than last year?” Alex asks before he kisses the side of my head.
I turn to face him, “I like being here and not being nervous around you. I was worried last year you didn’t have a good time.”
“I had a wonderful time with you. Watching your eyes light up when you saw everything when you got scared of Schmutzli. Your first taste of mulled wine.” He has a smile on his face as he spoke.
Kayla finishes her candle, and we head to find Santa. We see them and wait in line for a photo. When it was Kayla’s turn, she asks for Mittens to come with her. Alex lets Mittens off the lead, and she follows Kayla. I watch with amusement as Mittens tries to block Schmutzli from getting too close to Kayla. Each time he would walk behind her and stand on the other side, Mittens followed, always being sure she was between him and Kayla.
The photographer takes the photo and looks at Alex and me, then turns to Kayla, “Würden deine Eltern ins Bild kommen wollen?” The photographer asked Kayla if she would like her parents in the picture. Kayla seems excited about the idea and tells us to come on. I look over at Alex to gauge his reaction. Kayla stands in front of me, and Alex stands on the opposite side of Santa with Mittens. After getting the photo, we walked around the shops more.
At around nine, we head home. Kayla is rubbing her eyes, and I can tell she will have a meltdown soon. On the tram, Kayla falls asleep. Alex carries her into the house. I take her coat and boots off then go with Alex to lay her down. She doesn’t wake up as I tuck her into bed.
Alex and I sit on the couch. “Your mother texted me, asking if we would like to visit them.” I lay my head on his shoulder, and he puts the arm around me.
“I don’t know. Going to see my parents isn’t something I want to do. I don’t like how they treated you or their reasoning for being in my life now.” Alex sounds annoyed.
“We don’t have to go. I just wanted you to know they invited us. If you would rather stay here and have Mila and Baldrick over, I am good with that.”
Alex lets out a sigh. “I don’t know what to do. It's hard being in this situation. My parents never showed interest in me growing up, then they took Fritz’s side with Lana, they treated you terrible, called me a bad son, and now they want to be a part of my life. I don’t believe they are doing it because they care about me. They lost Fritz and don’t want people to think they were bad parents.”
“Maybe, or they realized they favored the wrong son and want to do right by him now.” I move away from Alex so I can look at him better.
“I don’t know, Schatzi. I feel as though my life is better now that they are not in it. Like good things happen when they aren’t around. I met you when they weren’t around; I got my job and Ph.D. when they weren’t around. They seem only to contribute negative things. I don’t want that around us.”
I hate that Alex has such a bad relationship with his parents. I know he struggles with if he should talk to them or not. “We could go there and stay in a hotel, go sight-seeing, and plan other activities. That way, you still feel like they are involved in your life, but you control the terms.” I can tell Alex is taking in my words.
“Okay, we can go. But only because I want to visit Sweden.” He smiles at me, so I know he’s teasing. Alex sometimes has his playful moments. “What do you say we go back to our room? Enjoy some time just the two of us.” I can see the lust in Alex’s eyes. When I nod my head, he quickly stands up and pulls me to the bedroom.
The moment we walk into our room, Alex shuts the door and locks it, then his lips claim mine. We quickly begin pealing off our clothes as Alex backs me to the bed. When we finally get our clothes off, he pushes me back onto the bed. Alex gets on top of me and slowly kisses down my neck to my breasts. I feel Alex teasing me with his tongue before sucking the hard bud into his mouth. A moan escapes my lips as Alex rubs his hand up and down my inner thigh as he teases me. My body feels like it is burning for him. Alex moves his attention to the other n****e while his hand moves over my s*x.
My hands lightly move over Alex’s shoulder, down his back, then back up his arms. Alex’s fingers begin to tease the outside of my slit. His thumb starts making circles over the bundle of nerves while he pushes a finger inside of me. I moan his name, enjoying everything he makes me feel. Alex moves back up and kisses me while he sinks a second finger inside of me. I bite Alex’s lower lip; he groans in response. His fingers begin moving faster. I can feel my muscles starting to tense. “Look at me. I want to see your face while I bring you to orgasm.” I do my best to keep my eyes open and focused on Alex’s face as he brings me to release.
I’m already breathing heavily. Alex begins kissing down my body. “Alex, please, I need you.”
I can feel Alex smile against my skin. “Schatzi, you are irresistible. Let me enjoy you a little more. I love the feel of your skin against my lips.” He places a kiss on my inner thigh. “Your taste.” I feel Alex’s tongue run along my entrance. He continues to tease me with his mouth. As Alex’s lips and tongue move over my c**t, two of his fingers slowly sink into me. The pressure is building again. I start begging Alex to take me, but he doesn’t stop. It doesn’t take much more to make me go over the edge. I cry out Alex’s name while my body trembles from pleasure.
Alex comes back up and positions himself at my entrance. “Are you ready?” I nod, desperately wanting him inside of me. He slowly sinks into me. One of Alex’s hands comes to caress my cheek. “I love you, Kamryn. You mean so much to me.” As Alex begins to move, I close my eyes, enjoying the feeling he’s giving me. “Look at me, Kamryn. I want to see your eyes.” I open my eyes and look up at Alex. As his movements become faster, I can feel the pressure building up again. My hands begin to move over Alex’s body. I feel the strong muscles in his arm—the plains of his chest. The more I touch Alex, the more intense his movement becomes. I feel my muscles tense again. Alex kisses me as my body shudders under him. It doesn’t take long for Alex to find his release.
Alex lays next to me while we both try to catch our breath. As Alex and I lay next to each other, Mittens starts to bark. I give Alex an odd look. Mittens doesn’t often bark. She typically doesn’t behave this way. “Do you think it’s an animal or something?”
“Maybe, I will go check.” Alex gets up and grabs his pants and coat. I hear him open the door, and Mittens runs out barking. A few minutes later, Alex returns. “I didn’t see anything. It was probably an animal.” It’s weird she barked at an animal. Typically she just likes to chase them. The only other time Mittens barks is when people walk past our house, and she’s outside. Deciding that Alex is probably right, I snuggle closer to him and go to sleep.
The next morning, I wake up and try to find Alex a Christmas present. He told me about his grandfather’s watch that he sold during his ordeal with Lana. I wanted to find a watch similar or something to make him think of his grandfather. Alex has told me that growing up, he and his grandfather were close. Since Alex wasn’t close to his parents, he spent time with his grandfather. Often when Alex’s parents and him got into a fight, he would spend school breaks with his grandfather.
Today I come across one that is almost identical to the one he sold. It’s at a secondhand shop and doesn’t appear to be in bad shape. I take Kayla, and we take the tram to the shops. Today I didn’t bring Mittens. It would be too much to keep up with her and Kayla. We arrive at the store, and I find the watch. Checking to make sure nothing is cracked or broken, I take it to the counter. After buying the watch, we leave the store. We are almost at the tram pick up when I see him. Johnny is across the road. Panicking, I grab Kayla and run to a crowded area. We get on another tram, and I hold Kayla close, watching for any signs of Johnny. Maybe he didn’t see me, at least I hope he didn’t.
