Our time in Sweden is over, and I feel more relief than sadness. With Alex’s family and Kayla getting sick, it was not my ideal Christmas. We had only two days for us to walk around and enjoy Hassleholm. I double-check around the apartment to make sure we aren’t leaving anything. “I think we have everything,” I say to Alex as I walk back into the main room.
