Romantic
It turns out Kayla has strep throat. Alex and I took her to a clinic this morning before picking up the keys for our new rental. I blame Alex’s family for Kayla getting sick. I know I shouldn’t, and I don’t have any proof. The only people she’s been around in the past 2-5 days are Alex’s family. Luckily, so far, Alex and I are both okay. Because Kayla is sick, she doesn’t want to leave my side and wants to sit in my lap most of the time. Today's only bright side has been the doctor saying most kids are feeling better 24 hours after starting the antibiotic. I hope that’s true for Kayla. I hate she got sick on our first ‘sort of vacation.’ “I think I packed everything. Do you want to do a quick walkthrough?
