Tentative Dates
School started back this week. A few days before, Alex, Kayla, and I came up here to repaint and make sure everything was ready to start the new term. Alex had a new alarm system installed and changed all the locks. It feels odd being here. Knowing this is where Johnny took Mila and Baldrick. This is where Alex was held, and this is where he fought. The mess was clean the day everything took place. You couldn’t even tell what happened. But I still couldn’t forget, so Alex and I repainted ourselves. The fresh coats of paint helped make the school seem different, and it gave me just enough distance from the events I can teach.
