The rivals surface

246 Words
A long time ago, there were two great kingdoms, Akidele and Zibudo. These two kingdoms had been fighting for power for a long time and had become the worst of enemies. In Akidele kingdom, Prince Dubem was born and joy filled the entire kingdom because an heir had arrived. Two years later, a prestigious baby girl was born to the royal family of Zibudo kingdom, and she was named Princess Kamsi. The wars between the two kingdoms subsided but didn't end and neither did their hate and despise of each other. Twenty years later, the same greed for power made the two kings of the two great kingdoms, king Arinze and king Obudo respectively, ask their children to marry each other. Prince Dubem, a party animal and a playboy, tried to object, but his parents told him to respect and fight for his kingdom for once. Princes kamsi, on the other hand, a respectful and fearless princess who wanted peace for other people, reluctantly accepted the marriage proposal. Three months later, the two enemies exchanged vows. King Obudo and his wife Queen Melinda escorted their daughter to the royal car as she moved to Akidele Kingdom. Queen Melinda wept for her daughter because they had not been separated from each other long before. She requested the king to allow the princess' childhood best friend Oma to accompany her as her personal assistant, since she was not comfortable with her daughter living in a strange kingdom alone.
