I stood by the window of my study, looking out into the scenery that surrounded the house. My hands were clenched into fists, my jaw locked tight, I was deeply troubled by what Anastasia told me.
"I was the Luna of the Northern Pack... I was betrayed by Lawrence and Selena… They left me to die."
I wanted to break something, my wolf felt so aggravated and wanted revenge.
How could anyone do that to her? How could a mate betray her that way? She trusted him and also loved him. And he used that love to stab her in the back.
