Chapter 27 Veronica's back
“I want to get discharged before she steps here. Can’t she give up on me?”
She won’t. Who knows what she’s planning to do tomorrow?
“Let’s forget it, Xander. Tomorrow’s your last day in the hospital. What are you planning to do after getting discharged?” I closed the laptop and distracted him.
“I haven’t thought about it, but I will be so happy to use my hand. I’m so tired of using one hand.”
“There’s an end for it tomorrow. You can finally use both hands and you don’t need to stay in a room for a whole day.” I gently touched the words I wrote in his bandage.
“That’s an enormous relief among all. Then, I got three wishes to be fulfilled after I’m out of here. It’s about us,” Xander said. The word ‘us’ gives me excitement.
