Chapter 03

Aria POV:

Following Maria, I reached her house.

Her house is a two-story building according to the knowledge I got from Nora, and it is surrounded by beautiful plants which I liked the most.

As I walked through the door following Maria I came across a boy who was sitting in that room.

“Where were you, Maria?”

He asked while turning towards us.

Oh my God!!

He is the boy with a sharp nose and jawline I saved on that mountain.

He gazed at me in confusion.

I hope he didn't recognize me. He saw me with my wings spread out.

Although I changed my dress still, I don't want to get caught on my day one on earth.

“Who is she, Maria?”

he asked her.

“Bro, Her name is Aria.

She saved me tonight from getting hit by a vehicle.

After that, I got to know that she doesn't have a place to stay.

That's why I brought her with me, and she is going to stay with us until she finds a place for herself”

Maria answered him.

He didn't give any reply but just kept on staring at me and Maria.

“Aria,

He is my twin brother,

Maria introduced us.

He is Maria's brother that means I saved both brother and sister's lives.

I wanted to say hello, but that guy walked away.

He just left without turning around not even for once.

Huff, I am not going to talk to him either.

“My brother is always like this, he doesn't like to talk with new people, ”

I heard Maria.

I replied to her.

I don't have a problem if he doesn't want to talk to me.

I just wish he would never recognize me.

“What is the name of the school you got transferred and

Which class?”

Maria asked me.

I don't know..... was my actual answer but then again I have Nora.

“City High School.

Senior year of high school”

I repeated the name I heard from Nora.

We are going to be classmates”

she said with enthusiasm.

I smiled at her excitement.

“Did you have your dinner?”

she asked me.

As I heard her mention dinner

I realized that my stomach was aching.

“It is not a stomach ache Aria,

It is called hunger.

Tell her that you didn't have dinner”

I heard Nora.

I nodded my head sideways.

“Come,

I know the process to make pasta”

she said.

I don't know what is this pasta that she mentioned and,

It was the first time I have had this kind of stomach ache.

I kept on observing her actions.

I don't know what she did but after a few minutes, she kept a plate in front of me.

“What is this?”

I asked her.

She gave me a puzzled look.

“It is pasta.

I know it doesn't look like pasta but still, it will taste like pasta try it”

she answered me.

How should I try it?

What is the meaning of trying it?

I have ever seen this in my life.

Why is Nora not saying anything?

“Nora,

What is it?”

I whispered.

Is my pendant not working or did it get broken?

Whatever it is I have to solve this problem.

Wait, Humans eat food to survive that means it is food that they eat to stay alive.

Oh, finally I got it, my struggle to study didn't get wasted.

But Still, I have another problem.

How will they eat?

If only Maria eats I had followed her.

“Maria,

are you not going to eat?”

I asked her.

“No, I am not hungry”

she replied.

“Maria, come with me.

We heard her brother's voice.

She left with him.

I gazed at the plate in front of me.

Whatever I am going to eat with my hands.

As I had one bite,

I liked this pasta.

“Wow, It was really tasty,”

I thought after emptying the plate.

As I turned around I saw walking towards me.

“It is really tasty”

I answered her with a smile.

She looked stunned at my words.

“You are the first person to appreciate my pasta.

she said with a big smile.

I was surprised by her response.

“Really!

No one appreciated you before”

I asked in disbelief.

She nodded sideways.

“They should have appreciated you.

I have never tasted this type of dish in my life” I said.

“Thank you,

I think we are going to be best friends in future”

she said with excitement.

“Come, I will show you your room,”

she said and started walking towards the staircase.

I followed her and the staircase led us to the first floor.

This floor has three doors, and she led me to one on the left corner.

“This is your room and beside one is mine,” she said while opening the door and turned on the lights.

“Aria, It is already midnight.

I am going to my room.

Let's meet tomorrow and get to know each other more.

I will cook pasta as breakfast for you”

she said and left with the speed of lightning.

“Wow, she is an amazing girl,”

I thought.

I locked the door from inside and walked towards the bed.

I am almost aware of the things present in the room.

It has a bed, a wardrobe to keep clothes and a mirror.

As I gazed at the mirror I got confused because it was the first I saw myself in colorful clothes.

But, I don't know what these clothes are named.

My gaze fell on the white box on the wall.

“What is it, Nora?”

I asked her, and suddenly I realized that she didn't give any response to me before.

I hurriedly sat on the bed and took out the chain.

“Nora,

are you there?

Answer me”

I kept on asking.

“I am there Aria.

Please stop hitting me”

I heard her reply.

“I was not hitting you.

It is just tapping and,

Why didn't you answer my questions earlier?” I asked her.

“If It was tapping then don't tap anything from now on.

Non-living may have feelings”

I heard her reply.

“Don't talk nonsense and answer my question,”

I asked her.

“According to the rules set by my creator.

I am only going to help in major topics, not on small topics like eating.

You have to learn these things by yourself because this includes punishment.

I am only here to help you to settle down.

Now, that you have stabilized I am done with my job.

So, from now on I am only going to monitor you”

I heard her baseless reply.

If you are not going to help then how I am going to survive.

I don't know anything about humans.

Can't you help in adjusting to the human world?”

I requested her.

I didn't get a response from Nora.

“Ah!

Again you went into mute mode.

Please at least tell me what is this city high school”

I tried my luck this time.

“It is a place similar to the school you were attending in heaven.

The only difference is you have learned about magic and these humans learn some subjects and different languages”

This time I heard her reply.

Lina aunt I thought you intended to help me but no you are giving me assignments in the human world.

I thought I would just survive while roaming in the human world for a year, but now I landed myself here.

“Nora, It's okay I am not going to ask for your help for small things but just talk with me”

I requested her.

“Ok”

I heard her reply.

“Let's be friends Nora,”

I asked her.

“Ok, but you have to study everything about the human and human world by yourself”

She replied.

I told her.

My gaze fell on the suitcase.

I decided to check it.

It was full of clothes and some papers.

Those papers are on the name of

Aria Harris.

“Who is Aria Harris, Nora?

She has the same name as mine.

What are these papers?”

I asked.

“She doesn't have the same name.

It is you only Aria.

You should have the last name in the human world.

And, these papers are for your admission to the school.

You have to take these papers with you to attend school”

I heard her reply.

“That means Lina aunt planned everything before only.

Where I have to stay and what I should do in the human world, right?”

I asked with suspicions.

“And, another thing before I felt the hunger that means did I become human,”

I asked her.

“Yes, ”

she replied, shocking me to the core.

“What are you joking about?

How can an angel like me become human?”

I asked in a panic.

And, the next moment I used my powers to lift the object beside me.

I signed in relief as I saw my powers working.

“Aria,

I am not saying that you become a complete human.

I mean that you are going to feel hunger and every emotion humans feel.

You might not know what those emotions are, but you are going to experience it.

That's why you have to study more about humans.

And, my creator only sent me to guide you to this house and other things are in your hands”

She replied.

“Ok, I understood everything but,

Why does the place I have to stay have to be this house?”

I asked her.

“Do you have any problem with this house?” she asked me.

“Maria's brother...

I almost spilled the beans,

I can't tell her that I saved a mortal.

she asked me.

“I don't like her brother,”

I replied.

She didn't give any reply, which means she believed my word.

“What did you do that you ended up getting this punishment?”

Nora asked me.

“It is a long story, but I will tell you in short.

Last week I was roaming around with my friend while talking about humans.

As we were talking about humans I got curious about their world.

And I decided to visit the human world.

I thought I would look around and return to heaven, but it didn't go as I expected”

I said, remembering the incident that resulted in my current situation.

“What happened?”

she asked,

I can sense curiosity in her voice.

“I landed in a forest in the human world.

As I was roaming around I saw a human and her child.

That human was lying on the ground as a snake bit her and her child kept on crying beside her.

I was unable to watch that child crying, so I saved that woman who was supposed to die on that day.

Because of it, the heavens got angered, and I received this punishment”

I completed my story.

“OH!!!”

I heard her reply.

Whatever is the reason now I have to live as a human in between humans.

Come on Aria,

Tomorrow onwards I am going to learn everything about humans.

My determination level increased incredibly.
