The good thing was that I no longer had to hide and make up lies. The downside was that my world would soon be aware of my story with Peter and I would be targeted. After Geoff it would be the Parkers’ turn. Then some common friends. And soon my parents too. It was unavoidable. Probably Geoff would try to talk some sense into me and bring me back on the right path through my parents’ intrusion, perhaps my brother’s, Rachel’s... And I would be alone against all giving explanations that didn’t have a rational logic.
