Chapter 10

When I get up in the morning I go and make breakfast and coffee for Jack then I wake the kids up and get them fed "so kids do you want to go on a special trip for the next 2 weeks" I ask them "what trip mommy" Lauren says "well daddy's been so busy with work we thought it would be fun to go away for a little bit "what about all our friends" Luke asks "oh it's ok we won't be gone forever it's only 2 weeks we will be back before you know it" "okay mommy" they both say at the same time "ok now go play with Rosie and Zack in the playroom so I can pack" I say "kaykay mama" Lauren says then they run off to play and I go to my room and start to pack and a couple of minutes later Jack comes in "so babe what are you thinking and where should we go" he asks "Well I kinda made a schedule I was thinking maybe going to Disney the staying in Hawaii for a bit since it would be nice to get away from this cold weather I also wrote it down to keep track of it all" I say then hand him a piece of paper this the schedule on it "ok this looks good," Jack says "I will go pack the kids stuff you do our dose that sound good" he adds "sounds perfect now we have 2 days to pack get going," I say then he heads to the kid's room

A Couple Of Hours Later

when I'm almost done packing I hear a scream from downstairs so I run to see what it is and I see luke with blood on his knee "luke what happened are you ok" I say as I kneel next to him "mommy we were playing then a man came in here and tried to take sissy then aunty Melody started fighting him but he hurt sissy that's why I have blood on me" he says wheal crying "ok where is your sister" I ask "aunty melody took her to the doctor" he says "ok come on let's go find her and aunty Melody" I say then pick him up as I leave the room I see jack going towards the doctor's wing when we get there I see Melody standing outside the door Melody is Lauren ok" I ask worried "I don't know she won't let anyone in" Melody answers then I bang on the door "LET ME IN TO SEE MY DAUGHTER" I yell than the door opens "sorry luna we cant have anyone in here at the moment" the doctor says "would you like to lose your job" I threten "no luna I dont" he answers "ok then let me in" I say "yes luna" he said then moves out if the way and i see a cast on laurens right arm and an ancle brace on her left foot and i see doctors wrapping cuts all over her body "will she be ok" i ask as i grab her left hand "yes she will heal in about 3 days" he says " is she ok to go on our trip we have planned" i ask "when is the trip" he asks "it will be in 2 days"i say "oh of course she will be perfectly fine to go but just be sure to take the cast and brace off in 3 days" he says "ok is there anything else i need to know" i ask "um lets see don't get the cast wet and i think that's everything" he says "ok thanks is she good to leave" i ask "yes but she will need to rest for the next 2 days before your trip then she would be ok to go " he says "ok thans" i say then i carefully pick up lauren and bring her to my room "your going to stay in mommy and daddy's room for right now" i say "ok mommy" lauren says "ok stay here I'm going to go see auntie Melody" i say "okie mommy" she says then i go find melody and i find her with the doctor looking over her "melody are you ok" i ask "yeah I'm fine" she says "so what the hell happened" i ask "well.........."

Melody's POV (when the attack is happening)

I'm in the playroom with the twins "auntie melody can I have some juice" Luke asks "ooh me too please" Laurens says "ok stay here and ill go grab it" I say then I go to the kitchen to grab the juice and I go back in to see someone trying to grab Lauren and take her out through the window "STOP RIGHT THERE" I yell then he looks at me and growls then I shift into my wolf and I lack him so he drops Lauren and I hear a scream and cracking sound then I look to see luke holding her and I turn back to the man and he's gone and I shift back and grab Lauren and bring her to the doctor's wing "what happened to her" the doctor asks "some man tried to kidnap her and he hurt her" I say"ok let me see her and you can wait outside" he says then I leave and go into the hallway and 30 seconds later I see Layla

Layla's POV

"then that's when you came" Melody finishes her story "ok so we might be staying in Hawaii longer than we thought we need to find this man," say "I agree it is not safer here and we need to know who wants Lauren," she says "yes definitely I will go talk to Jack," I say "so will she be ok," Melody asks "yeah she will be ok," I say "that's good," she says "it is but thank you for being there if you weren't there she would be gone," I say "your welcome now go talk to Jack," she says then I go find Jack

I find Jack in our room with Lauren "babe we need to talk" I say "yes of course" he says then we go into the hallway "so I was thinking we should stay I Hawaii a little longer then planned so that we can find the guy who tried to take Lauren" I say "I was thinking the same thing" Jack says "ok good we are on the same page now we will need to pack for a little longer how long should we stay there" I say "we should stay until we catch him" he says "ok so let's just says pack for 2 months" I say "yeah sounds good" he says the we head back into our room
