Chapter 3

It's been a week since I broke up with josh and I don't feel anything yes I know I really like Jack he is my mate after all and I'm having his pups and it's all moving so fast Jack is going to my next appointment which is in 2 weeks and we already have names for the pups the girl will be Lauren and the boy is going to be Luke and I'm kinda glad that I'm with him I'm actually happy and I'm going to be the Luna of the pack now but Jack said I didn't have to be the Luna until I'm ready so if I want to be the Luna the coronation is after I have the pups so I have a month and a half to decide and I still have to tell Melody so she's coming over soon so I'm cleaning up a bit and I'm making lunch for us I'm making some grilled cheese and just as I finish making it there a knock on the door so I turn of the stove and answer it and it's a guy with a gun "come with me and no one gets hurt" he says and holds the gun to my head and I see Melody walking from behind and she sees the gun and she takes a large rock and hits the guy in the head and he passes out "oh my god you saved me" I say "your welcome but you better call the cops" she says "oh yes I will do that right now" I say then I call the cops and they come and take the guy away then we go inside and sit in the living room "so why was it you wanted to tell me" Melody asks and I tell her what has been happening in the last few weeks "oh my god so your with your mate now and he's with his mate" she says "yep he is with his mate" I say "well you have yours but are you ok so do miss him" she says "no not really" I say "well that's good" she says "yeah I'm kinda glad it happened" I say "well I'm glad your happy I wish I could find my mate" she says "hi Melody you'll find your mate soon I know it" I say "how do you know that"she says "all wolfs find their mete before they're 25 so you'll have your mate in at least 6 years" I say "oh ok well I'm going to go I have to take care of my little nephew see you later" she say "ok bye see you later" I say then she leaves and I watch my favourite tv show friends it's really funny after a while I make some dinner then I fall asleep the next morning I get woken up by Jack "hey wake up" he says "why" I ask"because it's already noon" he say "oh s**t why did you let me steep that late" I say "because your cute when you sleep" he says "wait you were watching me sleep" I say "yea kinda" he says "what the f**k why the hell would you do that it's creepy" I yell at him "wait calm down I was only here for an hour" he says "yeah but it's still creepy" I say "ok I know but I couldn't help it you were so cute" he says "ugh your a pain in the ass" I say as I get put of bed and walk to the kitchen I'm starving and I'm craving something salty so I find some chips and I open the bag and bring them to the living room "wait a minute you can't eat that you have to eat healthy for the pups" Jack says "hey I can eat whatever I want the pups are healthy and one bag of chips won't hurt them" I say "really your being stubborn just give me the chips and I'll make you some bacon and eggs" he says "no way I'm craving chips so I'm going to eat them" I say "ok fine" he says then sits next to me on the couch and he wraps his arm around me and I lean my head on his shoulder and I put the chips on the coffee table and we just sit there "I love you Layla" he says "I love you too Jack" I say

2 Weeks later

I have my last doctors appointment today and it will be the first time that Jack gets to see the pups "are you ready baby" Jack says "yea just a sec" I say then I walk over to him and we go to the car "how are you feeling" I ask him "I'm excited to see the pups for the first time I can't wait" he says the we start to drive when we get to the doctors office I tell the lady at the desk my name and then I sit down then shortly after that a nurse comes and we fallow her into a room "the doctor will be here soon" she says than 2 mins after she leaves the doctor comes in and starts the checkup "ok everything is healthy now let's do the ultrasound" he says then he puts the jelly stuff on my stomach and we look at the screen and it looks different then before "I have some bad news it looks like we will have to do an emergency c-section it looks like one of the pups isn't getting enough air" he says "will it be ok" I ask "I'm sure it'll be fine but let's get you to the hospital first" he says then he calls someone and they come in the room with a stretcher "is this really necessary I can still walk you know" I say "that might kill the pup this is necessary" the doctor says "oh ok" I say then they put me on the stretcher and put an oxygen mask on me "ok now you might fell a little sleepy but that's normal so just let the sleep come to you" one of the paramedics say "ok" I say then my eyes start feeling heavy until they close and I let the darkness come to me
