My Lost Angel

New Memories Together - Part I

Taeyeon's POV

Day 1 (5 days remaining, right?)

I'm already awake but I didn't open my eyes yet, I feel energized and so alive. I feel warm and comfortable. I'm savoring the moment as I smelled the place, it was familiar to me... Pink chiffon. It smells like Tiffany's apartment but it's impossible. Wait. *sniff sniff* I smelled Vanilla Lace too. It's Tiffany's perfume!?!

I quickly opened my eyes, I'm in Tiffany's room, in her bed?? And there's more, Tiffany was beside me!!! We're hugging side by side and her leg was wrapped around my hip. My heart started to beat uncontrollably, we're so close as my face was on her chest!

Oh gosh, you can kill me now. Well, not now. I'm enjoying this moment but why am I here and where's Baekhyun?

I barely moved and I tried to control my breathing, just to be normal. This girl has really effect on me. Whew. I feel so hot. My eyes looked down and it went round. s**t. I saw her mountains down there. Stop being byun, Erika! But I couldn't stop myself to stare.

I shut my eyes tightly, don't look at her cleavage, you dork! I scolded myself.

"Ya... Erika..." Tiffany suddenly said. s**t. s**t. "I know you're awake, good morning," she sweetly whispered.

I opened my eyes and met her gaze, she's really beautiful even if she just woke up. I just kept my silence and stared at her.

How did it happen? Why am I here? Did Baekhyun take me here?

"I feel that you're tense that's why I know you're awake. Anyway, Baekhyun took you here. He said he saw you passed out on the way," she already answered my questions in mind.

Oh yeah? My powers betrayed me. I tried it but it just took me outside the building of her apartment. But... maybe I just missed her, I don't need to blame my powers. Twit!

"Are you feeling better now?" She asked with concern in her voice.

I just nodded then Tiffany hugged me tightly, I like the feeling though. I could feel her warmth and her scent was hypnotizing, I'm under her spell now.

"I miss you..." She muttered "Please I just want you here with me. Stay with me Erika. Please... I feel lost when you're not around. And I'm sorry for what I've said to you last time," her voice was shaky.

"I thought... you love Siwon?"

She didn't answer, maybe she still do "Okay, I will stay with you. And I will not force you again or insist my feelings for you," I genuinely said.

"It doesn't matter who I love Erika, I just want to be like this... With you," but it does to me and it hurts me. "Promise that I will treat you better now, just don't leave me huh?" She begged.

I nodded then she lifted my chin with her index finger and kissed me on lips, I was shocked. It didn't register to me yet but I could feel her soft lips.

This was the first time that she kissed me.

Oh, but in my dream last night, it was exactly the same.

She pulled away smiling at me "Get up and take a bath. I'll cook you breakfast," she sat up and jumped off from bed. "Get up now, sleepyhead! Go take a bath," she winked at me before leaving the room.

I can't believe what happened. She became sweet and thoughtful in all of a sudden. So, I still have a chance. I shook my head.

But... if she want me to stay maybe, I have a place in her heart, even if it's just small space.

Let's see what will happen.

In the kitchen, my eyes comically popped out when I saw what's on the table. There were kimchi fried rice, eggs, hotdogs, bacons, ramen soup, toasted breads, and my favorite milk. It was like, there's a feast here.

Tiffany served me and put all kinds of food on a plate and she put the milk beside it then she gave me her eye smile. I missed her eye smile well, this was the first time she gave me that smile as Erika. I was jaw dropped on how she treats me.

Back then, when I was Taeyeon. She used to treat me like this. She's very sweet and she always look after me. I fell in love with her because she became my home, she's my family.

"Hey... Don't you like it?" Tiffany asked.

I was spacing out, I mentally smacked my forehead for that.

"Yes... I-I m-mean no, no... Uh... I-I like it!" Geez, I stuttered.

Tiffany giggled "You're so cute Erika... Anyway, let's eat and after, we'll gonna stroll around the city."

I took a mouthful of kimchi fried rice and bacon "Hmm?" Stroll?

"Let's just eat first, it's a surprise," Tiffany took a bite of her toasted bread.

"Aren't we going to school?" I was confused, she will ditch school today?

"I'm on my sick leave, I want to have quality time with you." She smiled at me, she looked excited.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because I missed you and... We're friends right? I just want to make it up to you," I nodded.

"This is me Erika, this is how I used to be when my best friend was still here. I want to be myself again. I want to get my life back as before," her eyes were full of pain. Maybe when I died, I took all from her even her life. Baekhyun said Tiffany was wasted, she's blaming herself for my death.

I held her hand "Just be yourself again Pani, I know your best friend will be happy seeing you back to yourself and intact."

She held my hand back and squeezed it "Thank you Erika."

"No... I'm the one who needs to thank you. Thank you Pani ah. You accepted me and took the responsibilities," I will make you happy, I will not force myself to you anymore. I will just enjoy my remaining 5 days here on earth.

I'm happy because I'm given a chance to be with you again and I will not waste it.

"Cut the drama now, let's eat! I'm excited to stroll!" I took a mouthful of my food and eat happily.

Tiffany softly laughed "Sure."

I'm in the parking area of the building of her apartment, I was waiting for her. She took her car for our stroll. I'm wearing my usual... jeans, shirt and jacket.

Where's Tiffany? She must be here now.

I could feel her presence but I couldn't see her anymore. My powers are getting weaker, it means, I'm gonna fail my mission.

Then someone stopped in front of me with her motor scooter?

Pink. All pink even the helmet.

Wait. Oh no. Tiffany?? She has a scooter?

When we're together in past, she always say that she wanted to buy a scooter and then she finally did.

"You know how to drive?" I nervously asked. I'm not into bikes. Seriously.

She rolled her eyes and her forehead furrowed "Of course... How can I get here if I don't?" She sighed "Come on! Ride!"

I puffed my cheeks then she asked me "Do you trust me?" I stiffened. Of course I do, so I sat at the back of her scooter, she gave me helmet, it was blue my favorite color then I wore it. It's copter style open-face helmet. These helmets are not covering our face so we can still chat on road, it has face shield though.

"Good, let's have a stroll now!" She cheerfully said "Wait, you hold me first."

I held her shoulders "Are you serious Erika?"

"W-why?"

Tiffany held my hands and put it on her waist "Hug me," she commanded.

"O-okay," the favor was on me so I wrapped my arms around her stomach and put my chin on her shoulder then I saw Tiffany gulped. My heart beats faster and faster not because I'm scared but because I'm with Tiffany. Her impact to me didn't change over the time.

As we're strolling around, I'm starting to think that it's not really a bad thing and I like it actually. I could feel the wind blows to my body as my hair was like flying. Tiffany's hair was tied and it's on her other side of her shoulder. The weather was great too, it's warm but I could feel the cold breeze.

I saw establishments around the city, the busy street as the people walked and passed by. They're all serious while me and Tiffany were chilling and enjoying the ride. It's still best to have a bond with your family and friends, it'll relieve you from stress at work and problems.

"Are you enjoying the ride?" Tiffany asked while driving, she's still focus on the road as her eyes were glued on it.

"Yes! This is so good!!" I exclaimed.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it! Where you wanna go?" Our voices are a little bit louder than usual.

"Wherever you want!" I'm going as long as I'm with you. "Do you have in your mind?" It's my turn to ask.

Tiffany nodded "We can buy foods and go to the park. We can do picnic there!" What a brilliant idea!

"Sounds good! I like that!" We could chat there while eating.

"Good! Let's buy foods then!"

At the park, Tiffany put a huge mantle on the grass so we can sit there and relax. We bought fast food like Fries, Burgers, Nuggets and snacks like Lays and Cheetos. We also bought sodas, bottled waters and a big solo cup of rocky road ice cream! We're like pigs, I know!

We're eating the ice cream first because it'll melt. We're sharing a spoon for my dookong's sake, it's like an indirect kiss you know. Tiffany was actually feeding me, she's so nice to me and I really love this situation.

After the ice cream, we ate burgers, fries and nuggets. We're food buddies now.

Kkkk~ While eating we continued to chat about our surroundings.

There were few people in the park, mostly couples, they were picnicking too.

Whew. I'm so full. I feel that my stomach will gonna burst anytime.

I yawned, it's really sleepy when you're full. I decided to lie on my back and put my head on Tiffany's lap. It feels great then Tiffany caressed my hair, it made me sleepier.

"Anyway, thank you for the cupcakes. It's delicious," Tiffany said.

I closed my eyes, it's relaxing here "I'm happy you liked it."

"I'm sorry for what happened that night-"

"Let's not talk about. I'm not mad," I cut her off.

"But it's my fault, what do you want me to do to make it up to you?" I groaned quietly, she's really hard headed sometimes.

"Just forget about it. This date is awesome." Date? Is this a date? Well if not, Tiffany will contradict.

"I insist. Tell me." Aishh... Fine! I smirked and opened my eyes to see her, she's looking down at me.

"Anything?" I dared.

"Anything," she nonchalantly said as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Did you eat all the cupcakes?"

She nodded. So, she ate 5 cupcakes.

"Okay, kiss me five times in return," I gulped. Of course she will protest, I laughed mentally.

"Kiss??" She raised a brow.

"See? If you can't, it's okay..."

Tiffany leaned down and gave a peck so I shut up. I'm shocked but I acted cool.

She kissed me in public!

"That's one..." Then she pecked me again, two... Three... Four... "Just one more."

Tiffany kissed me, not a peck this time and it's more like a French kiss! She bit my lower lip before she pulled herself up then she gave me an eye smile.

I blushed hard. This woman! Ugh! She bit my lower lip! That's... Kinda... hot.

"Are you okay Erika?" Then I sat up quickly and I bumped my forehead to hers.

We both touched our foreheads "I'm sorry Pani," I rubbed my forehead harshly.

Tiffany giggled then laughed "It's okay... You're such a dork."

I lowered my head, I'm really embarrassed.

"And I missed this," she added. It caused me to look up at her.

"I missed you. You don't know how much I'm happy that you're here with me now," I could see sincerity in her eyes.

"I wish, we could do this forever," but we can't.

"We can," she assured me as she ruffled my hair.

We can't Tiffany, I only have four days more and I know you love Siwon.

"Can you teach me how to drive your scooter?" I changed the topic to lighten the mood. But... I also like to learn how to drive her scooter, indeed.

"Sure, my pleasure."

Day 2.

I'm done packing my stuffs, I put it in a luggage. Tiffany said I just need three pairs of clothes then two pairs of pajama. I think we're going out of town.

Tiffany became close to me now. We're comfortable with each other as we used to do back then. Maybe, I have a little chance now? I want to be with her again. I want to live and go back here even if as Erika.

Taeyeon is dead, it's just the body but my soul still remains, just different identity though.

"Are you done?" Tiffany asked and I zipped the luggage.

"Yes, you?"

"Almost," she's still putting stuffs in her bag. Cosmetics not clothes.

Then the doorbell rang.

"Please Erika... Would you mind?"

"Nope, of course not," I stood up.

"Just a minute, I'm almost done," she hastily said as she rummaged in her bag.

"Sure," I went out to look who was it.

I opened the door and it's not good at my sight.

It's Siwon.

His eyes widened when he saw me, he's really glad to see me huh?

"Waaahh... Finally! You're here. Tiffany was worried to you. You're such a stubborn cousin... Anyway I'm happy you came back," you're happy because you can date Tiffany again instead of helping her to find me. [Don't me. ]

"Thank you. Come in," I politely said.

"Thank you," he entered and I closed the door. We saw Tiffany in the living room.

"Oh... Siwon oppa?" Tiffany looked surprised.

"You're not replying to me, you didn't answer my calls too. I thought something happened to you. I got worried so I'm here. I'm happy because you look better now," he stated.

Tiffany nodded "Thank you Siwon oppa."

"Um, the professors have meeting this lunch... I hope you will attend. Or if you want, we can go there together?" Siwon suggested.

"But me and Erika will go out of town," Tiffany reasoned.

"You can do that tomorrow, this is important Tiffany. If you attend, maybe you'll be promoted as the head admin. That's one of your dreams right?" Siwon tried to convince Tiffany.

"Pani ah, it's okay. We can go tomorrow. I think the meeting is more important," I said.

"No, I will not attend. That's final and I'm on my leave. You may go now Siwon oppa. I'm sorry," Tiffany firmly said. I can't help it but to smile. She chose me over Siwon, for the first time!

"Well, o-okay? Take care. See you again," Tiffany smiled and nodded.

Siwon left, I think, it's his first time to be rejected by Tiffany.

"You sure Tiffany?" I asked. I'm kinda guilty, it's her chance for a promotion.

"Yes, I'm very sure," Tiffany winked at me.

"But it's a promotion Pani-" she put her thumb on my lips.

"I. Don't. Care. You're more important than my career. I will not regret it because you're worthy. Remember that," she gave me eye smile. Now, I'm lucky for that. She's so generous to give me her famous eye smile.

And I feel that I'm the most important in her life.

"So get your things boo, we're ready to go."

I happily nodded. This was one of the best days in my life. Surely, I will gonna treasure it forever.

We're on our way now to the place that I don't know. Tiffany didn't say where, she just said it's a surprise.

But I have my idea to where she's taking me, as I see the way, it's so familiar to me. I know this route very well.

It's a perfect place to unwind, I miss that place so much. As Taeyeon, it's my favorite place. I always go there every weekend with her so I'm so sure, she will take me there.

I'm glad that she's taking me there as Erika...
