Chapter 4: {Quadbrid}

The library.. I stood there in Awe, i keep under estimating this school, I need to read up on this school, its history, the founders.. Cause this is amazing, the stories of E.H didn't lie. Its like a mini haven of all kinds of book, even human Anatomy... I walked through the aisle, the book shelves were so high, you need a ladder to bring out a book at the Top. I stopped in my steps as i came across a locked section.. Like an iron gate closing off a section at the far back of the library, that spiked my curiosity.. Its 5pm already, where's Moraine, i couldn't wait for combat training to end, i dashed here, so i ended up in the library 30 min earlier. I wonder what i'm made off, Moraine said we are called Quadbrids..

"You have so much going on in your head, be careful princess, i can see smoke from the over thinking, what's troubling you" Moraine! "You came?! I didn't sight you coming" i said "one would think with my height and the fact that i'm a giant, the floor should shake when i walk, you were lost in thought sansa, that's why" he explained... "Yeah I get it moraine I just have a lot of questions in my head about what you mentioned earlier” I said with a sigh. I didn’t know what it meant to be. Quadbrid, if I was even a quadbrid, How to control it, my hair color I can’t seem to get it back to its original form.

“Sansa dear, What do you want to know, ask me these questions that trouble you so” moraine spoke kindly his eyes watching mine with interest trying to decipher the words going through my brain..

“You said Quadbrid are extinct, How true is that?” I asked

“Just like I said earlier in class today, Quadbrids are said to be extinct, after the Great War 700 years ago which involved the Fallen angels which were the designed for the sole purpose of that war, including the wolve clans/packs, The Original Vampires, The great witches clansmen all supernaturals you could think of. they were said to be 5 Quadbrids that fought in that war… Two died in war, leaving 3 quads alive. They formed a clan of theirs. They were called Royals, even the Vampires revered their power and strength, no supernatural could compete against the powers they held, this made other supernaturals scared and envious of them, years down the line they created {the council} in other to give each supernatural clan an authority of their own at the highest tables, but this wasn’t enough for some power hungry supernaturals: Causing a rebellion to rise in our own world shattering the once peaceful existence we had of all supernaturals thereby creating boundaries and borders separating everyone. The witches and the wolf clans were never enemies to begin with neither were the vampires,,, no one knows why, but the separations made them enemies and no one seemed to question the new order it just felt better to avoid loss of lifes in our world… this Rebellion took the lives of many, the strong, weak, old, young, men, women… it’s something this younger generation do not wish to experience. Out of 5 quads 3 survived the war 700 years ago 100 years ago the rebellion took place which lasted for 10years or more if I can recall what I read well… there was a prophecy of a baby that would end all wars. The greatest war of all time will reoccur, this child is our greatest weapon to end the war of the past which is coming but that child is said to be dead apparently no proof yet. But the rebels have been looking for this child for years now to no avail. The child of prophecy is said to be a quadbrid.

The offspring of the original quads: Khal, Daryl, Ziconia.

Ziconia was pregnant with Khal’s child during this rebellion. The starter of this rebellion one of the imperial Vampires {the originals}, captured Khal with the help of a dark witch hungry for the power that the Quadbrid had in him, performing series of experiments on him in other to extract the 4 great souls in his life source … Ziconia and Daryl sacrificed their lives to save him on the night of Red moon… from what history has to tell… Daryl lost his life in an attempt to kill the dark witch… Zirconia and Khal called down Havoc that night only two Quadbrids killed thousands of Rebels before the reinforcements from the supernatural clans could get to Ziconia and khal in winning the war.. The war was already won by a 70:30 ratio….

Mind you Ziconia was pregnant with the princess while fighting this pushed her into an early labor the child was thought to be dead in her womb. Victory was theirs but the thought of her losing the baby drove her into madness. Khal couldn’t bare to see her in such state so he did something he shouldn’t have” moraine sighed sadly “ The quads have the special ability of communicating with the “One” they call him the maker of the Angels and all supernaturals, he’s the source in which we harness our powers from, Khal gave his Source up in other to create a time web to protect Ziconia and the baby which also revived the baby’s soul. No one knows of what became of Khal, he gave an instruction to the council to protect and conceal the identity of that baby when the time web was broken and the child was delivered into this world. No one saw him again after that day, rumors say he lost his source which made him a mere human Now without powers.. so he dwells among the humans in the human world

When the time web was broken 20years ago, Ziconia gave birth to the baby and disappeared till date no one knows of her whereabouts or that of kharl. Some say the child of prophecy is a boy, some say it’s a girl. No one knows of the princess or prince is alive only the council can say for sure but they’re sworn to secrecy” he conluded

“If Quadbrids were so powerful that it brought about a rebellion against them, what were their powers then?” I asked a little bit scared

“Oh that’s the fun part, quad brids were witches not your regular hookus poocus witches Rhey were elementals, they controlled elements of the earth: fire, water, earth, air.. Everything was theirs to command and control. They had magic in their bloods it can’t be explained. They had visions of what’s to happen, could read minds also. Some Quadbrids had a wolve, warrior angel, and shapeshifters side to them, while some had the Vampire, dragon riders and wolve souls in them. Each quad differed from the other
