Chapter Seventy Eight:

TO SAY THAT I’m anxious would be an understatement.
I was beyond nervous, to the point that I felt nauseous. Not thinking things through, I was initially excited to return to the company with the thought of finally doing something out of the norm for the past month.
However, it doesn’t seem to be working out well for me.
“Are you alright, Max?” Sebastian asked, gathering my attention. Upon averting my gaze to his direction, I took note of the formal attire that he was wearing; another one of his suits and ties that seemed rather redundant at this point.
Since I have fully decided to go back to work, he also stopped working remotely on this exact day. There was no point in continuing working from home when the person he’s looking after wouldn’t even be at the
