I COULD HAVE simply filled in for this event without a date.
This wouldn’t be the first time that it would happen anyway. For the past years that I filled in for this event, I didn’t give a damn to what anyone else would say whenever I didn’t have a person to accompany me.
In my point of view, those who didn’t have anything positive to say for not having a ‘date’ to this kind of event were the type of people I didn’t want to be associated with.
