Amanda Black
We were picked up from the airport by some random driver. I heard music all the way back home. This is not a house; it's a mansion. I was pissed when my so-called brother, who is a freaking stranger to us, hugged Ally. But the hug looked very warm. I wanted it too, but my guards came up. I removed all my frustration at him.
He showed us to our room. I know I had to not tell all those to him, but don't all men want that? What if he is just like his so-called dad? I don't want her to go through that. It hurts.... It hurts a lot...
I heard Ally sing to herself. I knocked on her door, and she didn't open. I slowly opened the door and saw her dancing on the bed, facing the other side. She is so cute. I kept her clothes on her side table and left. I know she too doesn't like that douche and his b***h, and their doom doesn't matter to her. I just hope that the douche is not dead in there. I just hope he is alive; I really don't want to go to jail. But I don't want him or his so-called slave to come back. I don't want this guy, who is my brother, to be like him too. I want this to be a new start. I have built my walls, but they are too high. I will not let it break. I trusted that douche; he broke it; he broke me. I'm not letting my brother do that again. He will have to work really, really hard to earn my trust. I'm not giving in. This is who I am. He will have to fight this side of me to be able to see my other side. The real side.... Which is hidden….. Hidden for years.
I heard a soft knock on the door. It had to be Ally; no one else can knock so softly. I opened my door to reveal a small, cute guy; he looked younger than me.
"Hi!!" He grinned. All my guards came down; he was a kid. I can never be rude to him. He looked so innocent, just like Ally. But who is he?
"Hi!! Who are you?" I asked with a straight face.
"I'm August, August Cooper Black." He smiled, bringing a smile to mine.
"Hi, I'm Amanda. Amanda Black." I smiled, ruffling his hair. He gasped. "What happened?"
"You... you are bad..." He looked scared now.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"You... they... told me you were bad!"
"Who told?
"Hmmm...." He was scared. I took his palm in mine and rubbed it softly.
I don't know who told you that I was a bad person, but I'm not. See...." I pointed to Ally's room. "In that room stays my beautiful sister. I like her a lot. She is not like me. Her name is Alexandra. Everyone would have told her she is a wonderful person. If you are scared of me. You can go to her. Okay?"
"I'm sorry!!"
"Why?"
"For upsetting you!"
"You didn't upset me, August. I'll probably never be upset with you. Now, why don't you go to someone you are not scared of?" He ran off to Ally's room before waving at me. I locked my room door again and sat on the bed. I was quite hungry—the last time I ate was when Ryan bought me breakfast.
"Ally, Amy, and Auggie, come down for dinner!" I heard someone call for us. I went out of the room, and August and Ally came out at the same time.
"Where is the kitchen now?" I asked her.
"I don't know!"
"I know," Ally and August both said at the same time. We followed August to the kitchen only to find four handsome men there. One of them was the one who opened the door for us and called himself our brother. I guess his name was Xavier. That's what the chief had told me. And I guess the others are his friends.
"I didn't expect visitors on our first day," I said coldly, my guard coming up again. They all chuckled, including Ally. I was confused, but nothing showed on my face. Two of them, around the same age, pulled out chairs for Ally and me. All men do this; they are nice at first and only show their true colors when they don't get what they want. I snatched my chair from his hand and adjusted it on my own. My eyes were still on the guy who pulled out Ally's chair. She sat opposite me. She smiled at him and thanked him, making me roll my eyes. The guy who opened the door placed a plate full of bacon and beef in front of Ally and went back to get mine. I had my eyes on Ally's every move. She took a bite, and I saw her face scrunch. I knew the food was not nice. He placed another plate in front of me. As soon as I was about to take a bite. Someone else entered. He was tall and fit. He had a very strong aura around him. His attire showed power. His face showed no emotion. It was blank, just like mine. He came and sat on the head seat of the table, which was close to us. I looked at him, confusion lingering in my eyes. I looked closely into his eyes. It showed he was hiding something because my eyes portrayed the same thing when I looked at myself in the mirror.
'He came early... for them." I heard August whisper to himself, disappointed. When I looked at him, he was on the verge of tears. Yes, he had expected this guy to come early for him. But... who is he?
"I hope you guys had no issues with your travel."
"No." Ally smiled.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I?" He chuckled, but not the funny one. "I'm your brother." His chuckles were scary as f**k. I gulped, making sure no one noticed the fear. Wait? If he is my brother, then who opened the door?
"How many of you are my so-called brothers?'' I asked.
"All of us." His voice screamed authority. "How was your flight?"
I rolled my eyes, not trusting my tongue.
"Did you book the..." Ally gasped. "It was a great flight, thank you." She smiled. She thought he got her business-class tickets. Nice.
He nodded. I took a bite of the bacon; it was not too tasty, and I saw Ally struggling to eat. That's when an idea popped up. I spit out whatever I was chewing.
"Who the f**k cooked this?" I asked. All heads turned toward me. I walked to Ally's plate, took the bacon, and threw it in the nearby bin. "Eat the beef." I told her. She smiled at me before eating her beef. I am allergic to beef, and the only option I had was the bacon, which is in the bin now. I walked back to my chair and drank the water that was there.
"Hmmm. I'm sorry on her behalf." Ally spoke softly. I raised my eyebrow at her and was pissed at her for apologizing.
"It's okay!" The guy next to the guy who opened the door said so.
"I want to... I want to know your names." She asked shyly. They all chuckled at her, except the guy in the head chair. I observed each of their moves, ready to attack anyone who tried anything with her.
"I'm Isaiah, in high school." The guy next (right) to the guy who opened the door told.
"I'm Grayson, in high school. Your third brother." The guy who sat to the right of Isaiah spoke.
"Oliver. High school. Isaiah's twin." The guy beside August raised his hand, winking.
"August.... " August, who was sitting to my left, smiled.
"Zaiden, your second brother." The guy who opened the door smiled from the right of Ally.
"Xavier, your legal guardian and first brother." The guy in the head seat said that his voice is similar to the douche's, but Xavier's was a little too deep.
"Alexandra!!" She smiled and looked at me as I introduced myself. I rolled my eyes, not interested. "And. She is Amanda, my..."
"Let her introduce herself, niña." Zaiden interrupted. I rolled my eyes. My introduction was done. I won't repeat myself.
(Child)
"Xavi I wa..."
"You are not introducing yourself?" Xavier asked me, cutting off August as if he did not exist. I looked at August, whose face showed pain. I looked back at Xavier, now angry at what he did to August.
"I don't care if you guys want to know about me or not. I don't give my life details to strangers like her." I spoke harshly, looking at Ally at the end. She gave me a sorry expression.
"You both. In my study. Now." Xavier's voice filled the room. I looked at him in disbelief. I know what he will do to us in the study. I know it all. I'm not going to let him do anything to Ally.
"Nope. We are going straight to our rooms!" I spoke up, leaving no room for debate.
"If you don't come, I will carry you! The choice is yours!" He smirked before leaving.
"Fucker." I screamed more to myself. I just hope he doesn't do anything to Ally. Ally was already halfway out of the kitchen, following him. I rolled my eyes and got up to follow them.
