"Because the police are already involved. Amanda is the victim as well as a criminal in their eyes!"
"SHE IS NOT A CRIMINAL!" Zaiden gritted out.
"That... I know... you know... but justice does not. They will ask for proof! And at this point of time, all you need to think about is to save Amanda from going to jail, not kill that asshole."
