POV: Luna
The next evening is the full moon.
Which means the Academy holds its monthly Moon Circle ceremony.
I'm not sure I'm ready for this. Not after everything that's happened. The sigils. The shadow caller. The mysterious figure in the library.
But attendance is mandatory for all students.
So Nova and I head to the Moon Circle together as the sun sets.
"You've been to these before," I say. "Last year. What should I expect?"
"It's beautiful. And a little overwhelming. Especially for Eclipse wolves." She looks at me. "Your mark is going to react strongly. The whole ceremony is designed to honor the moon and the goddess. It'll be like plugging directly into that power source."
