POV: Luna I wake up to sunlight streaming through unfamiliar windows. For a moment, I don't know where I am. Then the pain hits, and I remember everything. The ambush. The five rogues. Ryder saving me. I'm in the medical wing. The room is small and sterile, smelling of herbs and antiseptic. My shoulder and leg are wrapped in bandages that glow faintly with healing magic. "You're awake." I turn my head to see Nova sitting in a chair beside my bed. She looks exhausted, like she hasn't slept in days. "How long have I been out?" My voice comes out rough and scratchy. "Three days." Three days. I've lost three entire days. "Miguel—" "No word," Nova says quietly. "I'm sorry." The guilt hits me like a physical blow.
