The seven’s obsession

The madness it’s deafening and the darkness is closing in around me. As if I can’t breathe I can’t think. All I can do is keep running and take no time to look back afraid they’ll notice my absence or that they will catch me. The sting is unbearable not just the sting of my delicate skin being welted by the blows of the branches , not even the sting of the tears that are trying to burst from my amber eyes. But the worst of the pain is my world crashing around me. My once thought fairy tail life I'd waited so long for gone awry. They think i’m disposable and that I am weak. But on the contrary to my seemingly fradgal outside, my skin that tairs on the outside but the inside is steal and I will not be broken. They chose the wrong girl to try to break and manipulate. I will continue to run past the point of what my feeble feet can carry me and start to bleed, i’m a survivor and Im determined to get my happily ever after. In the distance i see an opening past the trees in front of me on my right so i go to take it. But as i make it to the border i feel a searing pain in the back of my thigh and everything goes silent and dark. Slowly coming back to reality,I’m laying on somthing very comfortable, wrapped in somthing that feels like a blanket making me warm, It’s totally silent. Smells of vanilla and somthing that resembles a mahogany making me grone and cuddle up tighter and sleep, my eye’s spring open realizing this was not my home and all the event’s that have transpired come rushing back to me. I was running, trying to get myself far away from Lorenzo’s estate and somewhere safe. Rapidly blinking the sleep out of my eye’s , I notice i’m not alone. There, on the opposite side of the room I’m in sits three very large men (describe characters here Roman, Nikolai and Dimitri). Slowly sitting up in the bed, wincing as I sit up my body is sore and my head is spinning so I try not to make any sudden movements. The men are just staring at me, one is on his phone and look’s to be texting someone, I’m not sure who these mysterious men are but I refuse to be sold to human trafficking, I need to find a way out of here and fast. The middle man with dark hair and brown eye’s break’s the silence first, “ We understand that you must be confused and want answer’s, they will come soon Viktor our oldest brother will be here in a few minutes, he will tell you anything you need to know. My name is Nikolai, these are two of my brother’s Roman and Dimitri.” I’m in shock at his words, between his accent and his appearance

Nikolai is very attractive. Im surprised with myself for having such thoughts but these men are the god’s of men I can’t seem to form any words at the moment. Wait he just said that his oldest brother was coming, I’m not sure I can handle anymore man looking the way they do around me, I need to be in my right mind so I can figure out a plan to get out of here. Shaking my head lightly, trying not to cause my head to spin to snap myself out of whatever that was, I look down at myself I’m wearing a large T-shirt and nothing else. My cheeks start to heat, embarrassed that at least one of them have seen me without proper clothing. No one has ever seen me without clothing on, my brain takes that moment to begin to work properly so I can form words. “ Did you change my clothes?” Feeling less confident after speaking about my less than appealing attire, “ yes, I changed your clothes before I put you in bed, you were covered in dirt and grass, didn’t think it would be very comfortable sleeping that way. I put one of my shirts on you since we didn’t have any clothes here that would fit you. We will get some clothes delivered for you in a couple hours.” Nikolai was very sweet, but I’ve learned my lesson on letting men trick me into believing in their words, I wont trust another so easily if I ever trust another man again It seems he is waiting for me to say somthing and I’m not impolite so I tell him “ thank you, but I’m not staying here, I don't know any of you and quit frankly I dont want any of your help, I can take care of myself.” Nikolai look’s like he is about to say somthing in return from my blantant remark but before he has the chance the door open’s and in walks an attractive, clean-cut man with glasses. He looks at his brothers, then turns to me and smiles when he see’s me already looking at him and catches me checking him out. I look down at my hands on my lap I need to pull myself together. “ Hello, My name is Viktor, I was made aware that you were awake and wanted to come see if you had any questions for me” finding my voice “ yes, why am I here and who are you?” He look’s to be thinking about what I said so I patiently wait for him to tell me what I want to know, how do they know my name. We’re these men sent by Lorenzo to take me to be sold? I start to panic, these men are so much bigger than I am, no way would I be able to over power them and escape this place. “ I see your mind turning a million mile’s a minute little one, but we mean you no harm. We simply wish to help you, we found you in the woods, passed out laying on the edge of the Forrest floor. You can stay here as long as you need to, but we need to know why we found you at the edge of the forrest passed out?” I dont trust these men but they were kind enough to help me, he still hasn’t told me who they are and I have a feeling they are into helping women on a regular basis. So I tell him as little as possible to get him to answer my question “I was running from my betrothed, I caught him having an affair and do not wish to live that way when I have been true to our arrangement. I ran hoping to get to the bus stop to leave this place to get away from him. It was so dark out in the forrest I must have tripped on somthing making me fall and pass out.” Viktor seems surprised with my statement but tries to mask his shock but It’s to late, “ Why would you run away instead of telling someone what you found out about him?” I also thought about that, but I honestly did’nt think anyone would believe me, It’s not like me and my father had the best relationship so I tell him “ no one would have believed me, I’m just a pawn in their games, someone they can trade of for their own binefit, and staying there with my betrothed wasn’t a good idea, I couldn’t fake it any longer after I found out about him”, I look back down to my lap because it was the truth, I failed to see Lorenzo was manipulating me for his own binefit and after such a betrayal, it stings. I really thought I started to fall in love with him, I guess that was my first mistake, never trust the words of a mafia man who just tries to reap the benefits. “ Well that’s quit he story, I’m sorry you’ve been through so much, you are welcome to stay here. No one would find you here, and we can keep you safe until you find out what it is that you plan to do.” I think about what he’s saying because honestly I’m not sure exactly where I would go, I know Anton told me he would come find me after he go things handled but these men don’t seem so bad, at least I would have a roof over my head and food to eat, plus the odds of anyone finding me here with them are very slim. “Thank you, I think that will be nice since I don’t really know where I was going” after I was finished speaking my stomach made it apparent that I was hungry, cheeks heating because I wasn’t offered food yet and didn’t want to really ask these strangers. Viktor chuckled lightly “where are my manner’s? You must be hungry, I can show you the kitchen and we can grab somthing to snack on before dinner is ready if you like?” I looked up a him an smiled “thank you, I guess I am quit hungry” I started to get up from the bed throwing the covers back getting ready to stand from the bed, I forgot about my clothing situation. Face turning red I immediately pull the shirt down as far as I can and look at him “I’m not properly dressed to be around company” he must have forgotten as well because I see his face start to pink, he's cute when he blushes. “Right, sorry about that, I will have some clothes sent up for you and we will wait outside the door for you to change, then we walk down together.” “Thank you”, I watch as the four men walk out of the room and shut the door behind them. I wonder who else stays here, surely there has to be more than just the four of them, someone must cook for them I dont think I’ve ever seen a man cook before, we always has maids do everything and they were women. BeforeI could think anymore about it there was a knock at the door, I rush to crack the door open to peak around and see who it was, and there standing at the door was a small, older woman holding a change of clothes for me. “Hello miss, here are a change of clothes for you, if they dont fit just let me know” she has a warm smile that makes me feel more at home. “Thank you so much, I appreciate the clothes”, I take the clothes adn shut the door so I can get changed. Quickly putting on the clothes, they seem to fit pretty well and they seem pretty new as well. Happy with being properly clothed I open the door to find Viktor standing there waiting for me. “Ready to go down to eat?” I reply “yes, thank you and thank you for the clothes too” He smiles at me “your’e welcome, I never got your name I should have asked before now my apologies.” I offer a small smile back and tell him “my name is Ellie.” He nods and we start to descend the hallway and go down the stairs, walking to the right after the stairs was an opening to a bar, then opens up into a beautiful open kitchen. “What would you like to eat Ellie?” Not really sure, I’m not a picky eater so I offer him the best reply I can “whatever you are wiling to give me would be good.” He nods again and heads to the party to look for somthing, I take a seat at the open bar waiting for him to come back. Before he makes it back over to me I hear footsteps coming towards me and not just one set of footsteps. I look over to where we entered the kitchen to see six men filing into the open area. Two of them I’ve met when I woke up in bed, but the other four I haven’t seen before, they look very intense and intemadating. Viktor comes back to stand in front of me and notices we have company and introduces them to me “ Ellie you’ve met Roman, Dmitri, and Nikolai, these are our three other brother’s Aleksandr, Andrei, and Ivan. Ivan and Andrei are the twins, they are always together so if you see one the other isn’t far behind.” As I look at these men, I’m trying hard to breathe and stay calm, they are so giant and other world good looking. Aleksandr is tall maybe 6’5’ and very broody, with short light brown hair wearing sweats and a t-shirt that his body fills out impressively. The twins Dmitri and Nikolai are very similar in size with big muscles and short brown hair, both wearing loung clothing as well like they just showered. “Hello, nice to meet you I’m Ellie.” Viktor continues “ I want everyone on their best behavior and being nice to Ellie, show her around make her feel welcome. I will be around most days but stay pretty busy with work in my office, so I will check in with you when I can to see how your doing with everything. Please make yourself at home here, If you need anything you may ask any of my brother’s and we will make sure you have anything you need.” He finishes speaking handing me a granola bar and soda can, “here’s somthing to hold you over until dinner is done, should be finished in about thirty minutes.” “Thank you Viktor, I appreciate it” hoping Im not going to cause anyone any problems I stay quiet for the rest of the evening, throughout dinner and excuse myself back to my room. I tell everyone good night and all of them were polite and returned the gesture except the broody one I think his name is Aleksandr. I don’t let that bother me as I make my way to my room and shut the door and get ready for bed. I’m so tired and really not feeling like socializing right now, I’m still heartbroken over the latest events in my life that ended with me finding myself here with these men. Climbing into bed and getting comfortable it doesn’t take long for sleep to find me.
