SERA
Aldric's compound was surrounded by dense forest.
Two buildings with stone walls, guards posted at every corner. Maybe thirty wolves from what I could see in the fading light.
I stood at the edge of the trees in human form with Maya beside me, behind us other wolves waited in silence. Two were circling to cut off escape routes.
"Ready?" Maya asked quietly.
"Yeah."
"Remember what Kade said, stay in control."
"I will."
I shifted.
My wolf tore through me so fast, When I landed on four paws my senses exploded. I could smell everything, the guards, the fear starting to build as someone spotted movement. The blood that would be spilled soon.
I didn't wait, i ran straight at the building.
My wolves followed, we hit them hard without warning.
The first guard went down under my jaw
