Maya's door was open when I got there. She was sitting on her bed folding her clothes while sorting them. She looked up when I knocked and her eyes went straight to my face.
"Oh no, what happened now?"
"Nothing bad."
"Your face says otherwise," she dropped the shirt she was holding. "Come in and tell me which disaster we're dealing with today."
I closed the door behind me and sat on the edge of her bed, "Kade kissed me."
