Saving her Alpha

Chapter 1

Erick

"Where is she?" I could hear my wolf's voice mixed with my own piercing through the dark loudly with rage. My love, my life, my forever. All were lost without any explanations.

"Another bad dream, baby boy?" Laura asked running her fingers through my hair. I was drenched in sweat and probably woke up screaming.

"I guess, can't quite remember…" I closed my eyes after rubbing my hands on my face "Did I say anything?"

"Besides the usual? No."

Laura's bright blue eyes smiled at me as she held my face with both her small hands. She kissed me softly on the lips, helping me let go of all the pain in my chest. She was amazing, she was my best friend against all odds.

Her black silk robe flew around her magnified figure and contrasted with her snow-white skin. She always mesmerized me.

"Headache?" Laura stood by me offering me a glass of water. How did she know? "I pay close attention to every detail about you." She didn't even let me ask what was on my mind.

"Your cousin called me. I guess the old alpha must be going mad after you."

"Why do you guess? Didn't he say anything?"

"Oh, I didn't answer. I'm not in the mood for listening to some mutt bi***ng at me."

She makes me smile, even through her darkness, she is the only one that can make me smile. I feel a tug in my pack's mind link and can tell my dad must be fuming. I don't wanna go home, that place doesn't feel like home…

"Come here." I extend a hand to her, bringing her close and wrapping my arms around her waist "I don't wanna go home. I want to stay here with you."

"Yes? And what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to f**k me to oblivion!"

Laura stands up on the bed, her feet on each of my sides. My hands go to her ankles and slide up her legs as she slowly lowers herself, making sure her body rubs my face.

I ran my tongue over her skin, my hands sliding up her side, groping her breasts.

I growl as she impales herself on my hard d**k moaning loudly and moving painfully unhurriedly.

Her hands tangle my hair and her hips speed up, our lips meet in an amazing kiss.

"F**k, baby, you feel so good." my hands dig into her hips, taking control of her movements

She smiles, throwing her head back, and biting her lips seductively. Laura tugs my hair and pulls my head to the to better access my neck. She kisses up and down my throat searching for the right spot.

"Are you ready, pup?" she whispers against my ear.

She doesn't give me time to answer and sinks her fangs into my neck. The pain burns for a second and then explodes into immeasurable pleasure.

It's daytime, the sun shines, the birds chirp, and the kitchen smells of waffles.

"Erick! " my cousin e future Beta's deep baritone voice echoes way too loud in my head "Where the hell have you been?"

"Stop yelling, I have a hangover…"

"Where was he?! Where do you think he was?!" my father's words are bitter. The almighty Alpha Jackson Blackwell dislikes my life choices and expects me to act my age and rank, take a chosen mate to make my Luna and take over the pack. "He was with that f***ing leech!"

"No! I was f***ing that vampire."

I can hear my father's wolf growling, hatred exuding through his greeting teeth. I wouldn't even react if he attacked me, sometimes I actually hoped he would bite my head off and end this nightmare.

It's my mother's touch that makes his wolf restrain. They are fated mates and their bond is amazing, and even if he is a sh**ty dad, he is a great mate for her. Luckily, Mom still bears with me.

"Stop that you two…" She rests her hands on his chest and gently pushes him back, staring into his eyes. My mom is the greatest Luna I have ever met, she is calm and gentle, and her voice is soothing. "Erick, go to your room and please take a shower! I will send some food for you."

I climbed up the stairs with Arthur at my heels. Mom probably sent him to check on me, and make sure I don't run away or do something stupid.

"What are you doing, man?" Arthur sits on the couch by the window and rubs his hands down his face

"You're the one in my room. What are you doing?"

"Come on, you know what I mean! You were gone for three days! Never responded to any of us linking you! I even called Laura, not that she would answer me…"

Arthur is my cousin and my best friend. We're the same age, we grew up together in the same house. When we were pups, we used to sneak into the alpha's office and cause trouble just for the fun of it. Grandfather, the old Alpha, would scold us as we ran into the woods and hid away.

But that was a long time ago. I've told Arthur he should be Alpha now, not me. He is much more qualified, and we share the same alpha bloodline.

Although the shower is freezing cold, I still feel it burning my skin. I don't know for how long I just stood there, I don't really care about the time.

"Say something, man!" Arthur cuts the water

"What do you want me to say? That I will take Vanessa as a mate, take over both packs, and obey my father's every wish to rule an empire!" He stared blankly at me. Did he think I was oblivious to my father's plans? Or maybe he was?

Vanessa was the only child of the Moon River Alpha. He didn't have a male heir and whoever mated his daughter would be their alpha.

"When did you become such an egotistical a**hole?!" he yells and slams the door on his way out

What the f**k, we used to be friends… I make my way to my bed and hope exhaustion brings me a dreamless sleep.
