Whew, that was emotionally taxing! I shook my head and entered in. Emma met me the moment she saw me entering in.
“Hi, ma’am. I already reserved your spot,” she said with a wide smile.
There she goes again with that warm welcome. I smiled back at her.
“Thanks.”
If it’s another person, I would just nod in recognition of what she said but this is Emma, the person who has been consistently kind to me. Honestly, I’m starting to feel comfortable with her around. That’s the reason why I come and dine here every lunchtime.
Emma bowed and led the way. Within minutes, I am already sitting down on my spot, my favorite location in this restaurant. I want to try other food today. I will try all the menus in this restaurant.
“Can you help me choose my food today?” I asked Emma who is standing
