“Jeez, baby. You’re not ready yet?”
Riva glanced down at herself and sighed deeply. She already hadn’t known what outfit to put on for seeing Benton, and, later, Benton and Daisy. Being yelled at by Daisy’s friend Jo had pretty much done her in. Benton was lucky she’d washed her face and fixed her makeup before he showed up, even if he didn’t seem to know that.
