The entire forum was in an uproar. Alec caught Kayla as she started to collapse. He looked up and saw Carl pushing through the throng of people to get to them. Alec pushed her toward him. “Stay with her. This isn’t finished yet.”
Alec stood as chaos erupted around them. Someone from the audience shouted, “The bracelets have been broken!”
